Miles would give it a try, but it would be more like a 5 gallon hat to get a good fit.

He's been told to just stand in the corner until the end of the season. He's done.

the difference between NS at red stick and NS at TTtown is 10 years. He is 10 years old and wiser and leaving in his early 60's to start a chit hole like Texass is not like leaving LSU when he was around 53

I think that's a bad selling point. I think Nick likes the challenges that the SEC provides.

The question is whether he wants anything to do with that catastrophe

Uh, I wouldn't call Texas a catastrophe. Are they turrible? Yes, but it's Texas and wouldn't take long to turn around. Not to mention he'd be playing against easier competition than in tSEC.
I doubt he goes to Texas, but to laugh at the idea(as many Tide fans are) seems unwarranted.

I think he wants to break the record for most Nat Championships. Right now he has 4. I think Bryant has the record with 6.

If he can get 7 he will retire and become a network commentator. He does love the camera.

Saban isn't going to Texas, Period.

The university of Texas anyway. I could see the agent/player crap pissing him off enough to finish in the NFL but that's doubtful

UT will go after CNS. Sexton will make sure of that. I doubt he leaves the machine he has created in Alabama. However, CNS and sexton will pillage the wealth of the Great State.

Yeah, although I think it's a longshot Saban would actually go to Austin, the REC had better expect to get out their checkbooks between now and January.

You seem to be new here. When every SEC team had a bye before playing Bama Sabin cried. The SEC fixed that for Sabin. When Bama had to play aTm right after LSU without a bye Bama loses. The next year aTm is moved up and now Bama has a bye before the aTm and LSU games. Bama is not allowed to play two contenders in a row. Not to mention Bama seems to have a scheduling mole at the SEC head quarters. Not sure if Sabin wants as hard a schedule as he leads everyone to believe.

10 years 100 million. The rec would match, but he could also live in Austin.

I'm confused on how anyone wouldn't know guys are getting paid by an 'agent/'booster' when it is that kind of money and the guy is supposedly the poorest of all poor. As for agent, one is a UA grad and the runner is an ex player. If those guys aren't considered boosters then I'm not sure what a booster is. This is more than likely his last run. USC is not going to sit quietly on this issue since the NCAA nailed them for almost the exact same thing. He'll make a deal like Carrol and get out before his name is tarnished. IMO he goes back to NFL. Maybe Carolina.

They came after him 2 years ago and he said no thanks. He isn't leaving Alabama for Texas. We can give him something that Texas never will...... 100% control. He literally does what he wants and gets what he wants. He doesn't even answer to the AD, just the university president.

What thread have you been reading? Where did any Alabama fans attribute any sense of loyalty to Saban? What...you think that just because we know the guy is happy and content that it means we think he's loyal? Are you really that fricking stupid? He's happy because Alabama makes sure he has what he wants and needs...mot just money, but power.

Saban is happy, and just importantly his wife is happy. He's a four hour drive from his lake house. He has absolute, total control over his program and has it clicking on all cylinders. And he's 61 years old. If you think that we believe that all of that translates into any sense of loyalty on his part, there's just no help for you.

anyone who thinks saban is leaving for texas is mentally unstable...sabans ego is what drives him...the constant thought of being the best is his pinnacle.

He has the chance at bama to achieve this "goal" of being the best of all time and that is what is driving him, not money...texas could offer him 15 million but what they cant offer is the chance to surpass the best off all time in college football...

saban isnt coaching against the sec, ncaa or other head coaches at this point...he is coaching against the greatest coaches of all time

Do you seriously think that Saban would see that as a positive? Please.

This is an interesting line of thought. I've read that a bama alumni had edited the kristi malzahn tape for you tube and was shopping around a photo of JFF sigining autographs. Funny how that photo popped up the day before the Bama/aTm game. Both things harmful to Bama's rivals. How ironic if he was responsible for causing potentially catastrophic issues for his beloved alma mater. Karma may be alive and well in Alabama.
