Dear LSU Fans,
PLEASE stop obsessing over Saban.
He IS NOT leaving Tuscaloosa until he retires. Why would he? Texas, USC, or LSU for that matter can't offer him ANYTHING he doesn't already have or has already had.
Alabama is one of the, if not the best CFB jobs in the country so another College team isn't going to 'lure' him away and he has NO good reason to go back to the NFL.
He is considered one of the All Time greats right now and will be an instant legend, why leave?
Embrace the war, we have the only Man and team that can (and does) stand in his way. Respect the hat, respect the opponent and let's get it on.

I just can't believe that Texas could be this bad. They have every advantage, but right now several schools are killing them in recruiting in Texas. Texas A&M, LSU and Oklahoma are always in the run for top Texas recruits.

He's not leaving and Tuscaloosa has nothing to do with it. If he started at Bama and was at LSU right now he wouldn't leave. He's too old to keep moving around and after that sour Dolphins departure he's not serving the media another softball to crush at him.

If I was a LSU fan I would be worried about the issues in Austin.
With Brown being on the hot seat and Les Miles growing tired of being second fiddle to Saban, Miles would listen to a Texas offer. Miles wants to be king again and the only way that will happen is if Saban retires or for Miles to take the Texas job.

I want to start by saying I do not think he is leaving, Bama would have to get hit with serious violations for him to even think about it. Now that being said anyone who thinks BR, and I love BR, or Tuscaloosa can even touch Austin is just out of their minds. Not even going to put Los Angeles in this conversation, Nick and his wife in LA, man can you even imagine that? Finally a place full of egos bigger than his and at least he deserves and earned his. But to think his wife wouldn't leave Tuscaloosa for Austin or LA y'all must be kidding. But I agree with the Bama guys, he's getting to old and well he knows his name will be on that stadium really soon. Texas ain't a disaster though they still have some of the top players and the state will always be fertile, same as California. It would take saban maybe 2 years to right that ship in Austin and win that conference. But if ya being really honest about it I'm sure he's looking at Texas licking his chops. Weak conference, easy path to make the championship game and fertile recruiting seems a lot to pass up. He could easily start stealing A&M recruits, Oklahoma recruits and keep the ones that some how end up in Oregon every year. I don't think he's going but I wouldn't bet money on him staying.

Coach Saban.Money can't buy everything.Whatever he wants Bama is going to give it to him.He's got money.He gives a million a year to his charity.He lives in the most exclusive area outside of Tuscaloosa.Golf Course down the road Beautiful lake.He's got kids in their 20's.He'll retire when he's ready and comfortable with what he's accomplished.He'll be offered the A.D.He'll be revered at Bama forever.

And Texas can also offer Nick that he will never play aTm and LSU ever again during the regular season. Nick is too old to have more than two hard games per year and Florida is coming on the schedule next season. The Big twelve has only Oklahoma to deal with as a national contender. If Sabin went to Texas he will own the Big 12 and win at least two NC before retiring as the GOAT.

I would be lying if I said that as an LSU fan I wouldn't be relieved to see Saban move on.
But let me just add one thing about the whole investigation. The way the whole system is set up now, it's almost impossible to not get caught eventually. NCAA football is a money making machine. And to be a part of the winning portion of that, you have to get involved in breaking the rules. The good ones are the ones that can coach and make smart hires, and at the same time so just enough to bend the rules and be smart enough to not get caught. It's almost as if the shelf life of a coach today is five years. Anything over that, and the media is ready to have that coach ousted. We're seeing that in Miles, Saban, we saw it in Pete Carroll, and started to see it in Urban at Florida (he bolted out before it could happen).
It's as if the NCAA sets up this giant garden of Eden on purpose to capitalize from it, with an intended self destruct program -busting investigation five years later.
Question is, will Saban be a victim of that and go for double his salary, or will he do like Miles and say "frick it, bring it on because I'm where I want to retire".
