Do you want to see the second team QB?

Will that convince you?

If it was the punt returners fault then they would do it more on purpose. It was your stupid arse defender for hitting helmet to helmet.

You can complain about targeting in general. But as the rule is written that was targeting to a T.

Also the player was defenseless. He doesn't have to call fair catch to be. Just like. How they can call a WR going across the middle as defenseless if you blow them up too hard.

You could be right but what happens to Ole Miss should Kelly tear an Acl or break some ribs etc? Don't let that karma come back on you.

Their QB threw 31 TDs last year. Their offense was almost an exact copy of UTs. Face it, UT is middle to lower tier SEC team with BJ as your coach. Dobbs is an awful passing QB. 7-5 if you're lucky

Don't be silly. He had like 3 designed runs and it was obvious Tennessee was being vanilla as blue bell.

That's an insult to blue bell

If he broke ribs, he's done for the season. That shite hurts.

I'll say this and let it alone - your offensive line was, shall I say, offensive. A team with a good dline is gonna destroy that offense

Yep, he can play with one of those wrap around pads but he'll be a shell of his former self for the rest of the season if a rib is actually fractured or seperated. His ability and will to scramble and throw a deep pass will be gone.

That was absolutely the best tackle all night.

It was a very text book tackle...but Appy State was making them all night. They are a very fundamentally sound tackling team.

He should of dove towards the goal line leading with that massive forehead leading the way. He'd be fine but the defender would have died

He could still start... All he can do is hand off anyways.

The touchdown in overtime. Dobbs lunged for the goal line and was speared mid air as he threw the ball on the ground, hoping for a home cooking call rather than a penalty for attempting a forward pass past the line of scrimmage.

Having said that, I need to see more of Tennessee before I base an opinion on that team.

While I agree that one game isn't much of a sample size, I think three things are obvious:

1. Dobbs isn't a good passer from the pocket.
2. UT's Oline is hot garbage.
3. Hurd is nothing more than a short yardage back.

Kamara should be getting more than 6 touches.

When did it happen?

I would guess on the last offensive play in OT when he took a helmet to the rib cage and coughed up the ball. He jumped for the EZ line and caught a lunging defender right in the ribs.

So no that does not explain his crappy play last night...

He got hit really hard about 4 times in the game and I could tell each time that it stung him
