Oh hell no. If Dobbs is hurt for weeks better get JG going. Dormady would get killed the way this line is playing.

Wouldn't doubt it, he got drilled on that last play. I hope he's not hurt but him going out may be the best thing that could happen to that offense. Dude looked like garbage all night.

You and the rest of the rantards are really, really stupid. Like really, really, stupid.

Butch made a bad misjudgment underestimating app st and not running dobbs early. He's an electric runner and would have probably avoided injury because they probably don't need ot. They were flat outcoached all night. Butch just isn't that good imo. Look at last years games where they led. Bad move after bad move.

I didn't see him actually keep a read option more than maybe once or twice.

He was in the pocket more than any time I can remember. That has to be by design.

The first part is fair although I highly doubt it was our coaches and more our players but the rest of your statement is more a meme than anything else.

Vols O-line got man handled by App State. Vols run D was horrible and I bet they lose at least 4 games this year maybe more...........

Meme or not I watched it all night. Maybe I should say the OC and DC were outcoached. Ya on players too. First game. Probably a good thing to bring more focus and work ethic. Hype prolly had them a little over confident

The OC? YES, WITHOUT A DOUBT.

The DC? Eh, we held them under 300 yards, triple option teams can make a defense look bad. Ask Saban about shite and a tin horn.

They only scored on a short field due to turnover and one really weird arse play.

Defense was fine.

I really hope you're kidding...

That hit defined targeting.

Punt returner that doesn't fair catch is not a defenseless player.

Also targeting is bullshite anyway.

You're probably correct about the hype. I honestly didn't expect it to get to the team given what they went through last season but I can't see any other reason for the way they played tonight. Virtually every facet of the game -- we were number one in the nation on special teams so let's drop a punt -- they got outplayed with a few players being exceptions to that.

Hopefully, it served as a wakeup call.
