As much as I hate to admit it, If this move happens other than some temporary shuffling this would have cero long term effects on Bama and Saban. He has won with a lot of different coordinators. He is the key piece... nothing else.

FWIW. What's been happening the last 5 days.
Sark had more input at halftime of Iron Bowl than the OC, hence the adjustments, hence a better performance. Kiffin was limited by the head coach on playcalls based on Sark input...he was told what to call.
Kiffin was told today after practice that he needed to look elsewhere after the season and that he'd be let go, but was asked to stay until the last game. Kiffin then informed Alabama that he's leaving after Saturday.
Behind the scenes Sark is generally viewed by the staff in Tuscaloosa as an upgrade from Kiffin.
Saban, not Kiffin, brought Sark to Tuscaloosa

First I've heard of something like this tbqh.

Unless Sark is gonna be named OC, I thought he couldn't have contact with players? Makes zero sense for Lane to leave before the season is over.

Have any of the Bama beat writers given this rumor any steam.....just seems like a bunch of speculation

Does it hurt having that longhorn logo next to your name now that they hired the coach y'all really wanted?

If I'm not mistaken he is under contract until February 2017?

Yea I think the Sark rumor is to convenient and he's not allowed a radio at the games. The commentators have a made a big deal or showing the headset with a taped up mic. He may have had half time input but I think 90% of the rant could have told you ran the damn ball lane.

I heard he was so impressed with the binder that he can no longer work for the midget.

He's a Tiger now.

Saban is out after this year anyway. He's only got one more shot at the NFL and he is going to take it.

So the lowest paid coach in the SEC West is convincing highly paid coordinators and coaches from other SEC West schools to join him at a bankrupt college? Makes sense.

As long as the REC's recruits are there it wouldn't matter if Saban fired himself after this weekend.

I could see some of the things in this thread happening. I could also see it just like the Tom Herman stuff.....or Jimbo stuff.

LSU fans just seem to get on a roll that builds like a snowball.

Because the snowball is started by real information. The delusionals blow it out of proportion. LK information is real too ..but it's not a done deal because he prefers a HC position at a TOP school. If he doesn't get a TOP HC job, he's coming to work with O.

This. People seem to forget that there has been a different OC for each of Bama's last three titles.

Kiffin on Jimbo's staff to serve as an offensive analyst for Tom Herman's offense.

People don't forget, they just fail to acknowledge that Saban runs the entire show at Alabama.
