I can't believe LK has been at Bama for 3 years now and you guys have not figured out what kind of child he is. He will absolutely do something like that...that's what he does!

Is this rumor all over or just in a baton rouge bar? I haven't heard a thing from any sports outlet whatsoever.

If this happens he'll be roasted by the media as the same ole lane who just hid his bullshite but still hasn't changed.
Doesn't matter to me what he does because we have Saban but seems like LSU keeps begging for bad press. Kirby and UGA couldn't have handled the situation any better last year. UGA was pretty up front about wanting Kirby to finish out the season with Bama.

If this happens, given kiffins past stuff and LSUs obsession with Bama, which has gotten worse with Orgeron, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

If Kiffin leaves for a coordinator job, he won't do it while sabotaging Alabama during a title run. The whole point of him coming to Bama as a coordinator was to rehab his image and have a guy like Saban to recommend him for HC jobs. He would wipe away all that if he leaves for a lateral position with poor timing.

Before I resume trolling yeah if he left it would be an unprofessional move. That said it wasn't like he was never going to work in football again until Saban hired him. Saban gave him the best landing spot in the country true. I think Saban upgraded his offense bc of it as well.

What a load of garbage

I wouldn't expect an Auburn fan to understand. No one ever comes after Auburn assistant coaches.

If he does leave for LSU after the SECCG it would really be a crappy move by him, and would destroy the rehabilitation of his image that has occurred. It isn't the going to LSU part so much as it is leaving Bama during a playoff run. I would hope he would have more respect for Alabama, Saban, and the players than that.

I could understand it more if he left after the SECCG for a HC job, because he could say he had to hire a staff, etc., but he wouldn't be responsible for that at LSU. Other than recruiting, there is really no reason to go on to LSU before Bama is done.

If Kiffin is not happy not being asked back I think he could care less especially if his only opportunity is a lateral move to become an OC when it seems he main goal was to be a HC after UA.

Lets also do not forget how he left UT and tampered with all their recruits after they had signed.

Either way I am stoked if Sark is on the sidelines going into the playoffs

FWIW. What's been happening the last 5 days.
Sark had more input at halftime of Iron Bowl than the OC, hence the adjustments, hence a better performance. Kiffin was limited by the head coach on playcalls based on Sark input...he was told what to call.
Kiffin was told today after practice that he needed to look elsewhere after the season and that he'd be let go, but was asked to stay until the last game. Kiffin then informed Alabama that he's leaving after Saturday.
Behind the scenes Sark is generally viewed by the staff in Tuscaloosa as an upgrade from Kiffin.
Saban, not Kiffin, brought Sark to Tuscaloosa.

If he's leaving to go be O's wingman, then he hasn't learned a damn thing from Saban during his career rehab in Tuscaloosa and he can GTFO right now because it's a dick move by a dick.

I had this discussion today at work (lifelong LSU fan here, but work in Alabama).

The Bama fans I work with (all of them) said Kiffin would gain nothing by going to be the OC at LSU. Their thinking was that simply because he was learning under Saban, he would be better off. Makes sense in a way, but look at it another way....

I told them that making the Alabama offense work .. was it really that big of a task? Kiffin merely changed a few things (added a couple different looks) and Bama simply kept rolling. Perhaps he is thinking that if he really wants to prove himself, go to LSU and turned their non-imaginative and inconsistent offense around. Get their passing game going along with the running game. That would be much more impressive then what he has done at Alabama. Accomplish that and his stock would rise even higher. Perhaps that is what he is thinking. Spend a couple years turning LSU around and THEN grab the big meal ticket.

It was about the only reason I could think of as to why he would come to LSU. My co-workers hadn't looked at it that way and after hearing what I said, a lot of them agreed that could be the reason.

Is sark allowed to make halftime adjustments per NCAA rules?

Playing in our third straight SEC title game and having won 24 straight games, with an opportunity to make the college playoff for the third straight year and a chance to win back-to-back national titles. Yeah things are not going our way at all right now.

Good question. But I think the better question would be would Saban risk breaking rules to hear "Run Bo" against a team that had 31 yards in the first half.

Thank you for a logical post. I think you're right about his stock rising higher if he can turn around the LSU offense.

Is Sark allowed to consult with players yet? Has that rule been lifted? I don't know if it was Saban's rule or the NCAA's but, I know when he was hired they said Sark was not allowed to go down on the field and consult with players.

It's only going to hurt them in the short run if Kiffin actually leaves the SEC Championship Game and doesn't stick around for the CFB Playoff. But in the long run, it really won't effect them at all.

Oh how fricking convenient.

So, I guess Sark was the genius that called the 3rd and 1 play-action up by 3 TDs with under 2 minutes left in the game stopping the clock and forcing a punt. Have fun with that guy.
