It's pretty likely that Golson has some dirt on the program if Hugh grants him the release

I'd be lying if I said this didn't cross my mind.

That's the only plausible explanation for letting him hopscotch over to a SECw squad. Makes absolutely no sense to do so unless you're covering your arse.

Freeze wears Gus pajamas. He does what Gustav tells him to do.

Whatever the story is Hugh believed it was enough to let him and not fight it. There is no way Hugh would let one of his key players leave for Auburn just because he was homesick, even if him and Gus are good friends. If the reason wasn't legit it would be easy to say he couldn't go to any SEC school and it not look like he was going against Gus.

He flipped from a national powerhouse to Ole Miss on his first visit. They've got to give him whatever he wants, including an easy out if they can't keep him happy.

I have a hard time believing Freeze would let him go because he was homesick. There's much more to it than is being released. He knocked someone up back home or something.

Well nothing has been done yet. Freeze hasn't granted him anything. We'll see.

unless a relative is close to death and freeze didn't want to say that then it is dirt on the program.

If there's one certainty in life, it's that your grandparents will at one point, get sick and die. I don't care if he was raised by them or not. Harsh, but such is life. This surely isn't a god damned reason to release him to go to Auburn and it all seems fishy as frick

This thread (and, in particular, dumb shite you say) reminds me why I hate reading about this kind of stuff on this board.

Everybody seems to know what's best for young men who are complete strangers to them.

I at least don't want someone who knows all of our offensive signals that we have changed this spring going to another SECw team. I know that much.

This is a huge blow but I can't understand why people are acting like this is a season crippling transfer. It's one player. I think we're going to be fine. We'll still win at least 7 IMO.

I'd feel better if C. Morris wasn't injured.

We will need 2012-type luck in order to make it through this season with a bowl game, IMO.

We have potential to be a 9 win team, and our line will probably indeed keep us in the 7 win levels, which sucks.
