He's not going anywhere, especially after his history in Mississippi itself. Dan Mullen is just desperate after suddenly losing Diaz. Rumor is Diaz left without much of a notice for Miami.

I'm very skeptical that this is true. Bonner says he hasn't even interviewed, nor has he been offered the job.

Mullen came to UF with Meyer from Utah. I've never understood why he doesn't try to go back to that part of the country. I think he could carve out a niche at Utah or Utah St and have a long career at a place like that.

Orgeron is waiting on a shot at a HC gig. Can't blame Mullen for trying to get some croots but Orgeron took his own name out of the LSU DC search.

Orgeron interviewed for DC at Miss St. last year and TURNED DOWN an offer to take the DL coach position at LSU. Diaz made 575K last year, O makes 450K now, Miss St. isn't getting Orgeron and Mullen will be left totally fricked as no one in their right mind will want to go to Starkville. Maybe Mullen should try Rob Ryan?
