Rename the mascots of the SEC given your own personal choice

of what you think would be the best fit given your own University. Try to keep it professional and respectful if you can (doubtful on the rant, but hopefully obtainable).
Auburn Plainsmen and Georgia Redcoats would be fine with me for example.
I know Ole Miss has had some "issues" in the past regarding this topic so maybe we can help them try to re-identify themselves.
I know they use "The Bears" right now, but I didn't even know that bears lived in Mississippi to be to be honest.
Very confusing. That is like renaming Kentucky the "Spider Monkeys".
Do bears actually identify with Ole Miss or does Ole Miss have some type of Bear infatuation? Just don't get that decision.

pirates, samurai, ninjas, and hippies are all acceptable mascots.
Auburn samurai
Georgia ninjas
Mississippi State pirates
Missouri hippies
eta: A mascot with a bong would be pretty sweet. Also, when you see hippies you can cheer them on as they get pissed off that you think they're supporting football.

It's from a civil war unit named the tiger rifles. The mascot is "the fighting tigers".
And yes there are bears in Mississippi. Not a lot but there are bears.
