Still never told me a word about any player returning for the tide. Who's done what? How many tackles? What has this returning line done at the capstone?

If you don't think LSU has elite talent along the Dline then you haven't been paying attention. LSU can match bama blue chip for blue chip along the Dline.

Again tell us all about how great frazier, smith, ball, hand and payne are. That's five of your top seven Dlinemen. The five of them combined for about 30 tackles last year. Very impressive. The stuff legends are made of.

bama's '16 Dline doesn't come close to the talent and experience level of what they had in '15.

Comparing the vandy talent level to LSU's really shows your lack of football intelligence.

I know one thing...UFs OL iwill be vastly improved improved and our DL was part of the 2nd best defense in the SEC last year...Bullard wasnt a one man show...we have Caleb Brantley who will be a another potential first rounder at DT, we have CeCe Jefferson who will play DE/DT, Joey Ivie, Bryan Cox Jr who is monster at DE, Taven Bryan a real threat at DE who busted out as a r/s frosh last year before an injury sidelined him, Khairi Clark, another r/s frosh who came on scene ready to play and will be improved with those snaps, Justus Reed...another frosh last year who played well along with Kelvonnis Davis who has busted it in spring practice along with Jabari Zuniga. The DL will surprise folks. The OL has plenty of talent...we started 3 true frosh a lot last year...SEC opponents wont have that luxury this year. Martez Ivey, a top 3 recruit in the country will be a lot more experienced and will soon be All SEC and another first rounder. David Sharpe is a 350 lb 6'6" junior this year and was heavily recruited....he will be a potential first or second rounder. SEC frickkkkkked.

Bama has better players returning

based on? what? your opinion?

LSU's returning experienced players will suck, because we beat you last year. Bammer players, without a snap of SEC experience, are better because me and a recruiting service says so.

Gump logic.

Im not saying Bama or LSU will or wont be good because nobody knows shite. Last year? These are both brand new teams.
Your tired misspelling of 'this is the year' doesn't even make sense. 'eaux' is pronounced with a long 'O' sound, idiot. At least get something right in your post noob.

Now frick off.

7. Arkansas (3, 9)

You're overvaluing Arkansas' OL and undervaluing the d-line. I'd say our offensive line will probably be in the range of 4-7th and our defensive line will probably be 5th-7th.

On OL we could prolly be ranked lower

Not sure about that. There are plenty of bodies to go around and we could have considerable depth especially at OT.

But there are many unanswered questions. How good is Catalina ?WTF is going on with Pyke?He was preseason All SEC and 2nd team AA going into 2015 and was a huge disappointment. How will our guys perform under Pittman? You gotta think he's a big improvement over Sale.

I think the potential is there for a very solid unit.

still waiting to hear about all those GREAT ELITE Dlinemen on the bama roster. Give some numbers and not opinion.

FYI LSU actually outgained ole miss, rushing and passing. LSU "D" even held them to fewer total yards than what bama did.

Allen is one of the top DE's in the country, and I'd take him over any DE in the SEC outside of Garrett. Payne did a tremendous job as a freshman and would've started for the majority of the teams in the conference last year, including LSU. Tomlinson is very versatile and is a solid player as well. Hand is very talented and I expect him to have a really good season now that it's his time to shine, much like Pagan did in 2013. Our staff is also high on Frazier and multiple members of our front 7 have mentioned him as a guy who will be a key contributor this fall.

What will be interesting to see is who the other member of our 2-deep will be and how he will perform. I feel very confident about Allen/Payne/Tomlinson/Hand, I'm encouraged by what I've heard about Frazier, and I'm excited to see what Jamar King, OJ Smith, and our true/redshirt freshman can bring to the table.

All in all, our starters along the DL will be one of the 2-3 best in the SEC. But the unknown is the depth that we will have based on what we have returning. I would take our starters over LSU's, although they will likely be deeper than us this fall.

Our Dline is solid. There's NFL talent and they're deep. Our Oline is the one we're more concerned about.

Agree - but I don't think it is better than Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss. They still never figured out how to stop the run last season. Maybe they have figured that out, if so, then they are probably a top 4-5 unit.

A&M's struggles with run defense has a lot more to do with our total lack of talent at LB than it did with the D-line. Any RB that got past the D-line was pretty much guaranteed a first down before the defensive back could get to them.

I'd say if you want to rank front 7's or rushing defenses you'd be about right, but on line quality alone, you have A&M's D-line way too low. Myles Garrett, Daeshon Hall, and Daylon Mack are all going to be among the best in the country at their positions (Hall and Garrett already were last year).

On o-line we made a major upgrade at the coaching position. Hopefully he'll be able to make an impact in his first year back, if so I think A&M's o-line will be among the better ones in the conference. If not, well, I'll just hope our QB has strong bones and a quick release.
