Alabama won 4 national titles in the last 20 years, and they're DOWN 36 points.

USL really is so much worse.

It is sad to see how far Nebraska football has fallen.

I loved watching those teams in the early 90s.

ULM is even worse than USL tho.

Debatable, but we didn't run away.
You cancelled the contract.

Well, maybe we should end the slap fight with this little tidbit that we can agree on.
Just to make sure I contribute my part, I would say that Georgia Southern is probably worse than all of them.

You sure as hell ran away from Texas.
Remember 2008 when ya'll lost to Arkansas...
...STATE?
That one wasn't even on the road.

Good enough to beat Auburn a couple of times pre SEC

Alabama is likely the best cfb program ever but I don't think it's a stretch to say they'll never replicate again what they're currently doing with saban by the time it's all said and done.
Totally agree with this.
There have only been 8 programs to win at least 3 national championships during a stretch in which they averaged at least a National Championship every 4 seasons..... 9 total runs since Alabama is the only program to do it twice:
Alabama 1961-1979... 6 National Titles in 19 years (every 3.2 seasons)
USC 1962-1975... 5 National Titles in 14 years (every 2.8 seasons)
Miami 1983-2001... 5 National Titles in 19 years (every 3.8 seasons)
Alabama 2009-2015... 4 National Titles in 7 years (every 1.75 seasons)
Notre Dame 1943-1949... 4 National Titles in 7 years (every 1.75 seasons)
Nebraska 1994-1997... 3 National Titles in 4 years (every 1.3 seasons)
Minnesota 1936-1941... 3 National Titles in 7 years (every 2.3 seasons)
Oklahoma 1950-1956... 3 National Titles in 7 years (every 2.3 seasons)
Texas 1963-1970... 3 National Titles in 8 years (every 2.7 seasons)
Alabama's current run is the only one of these runs to take place entirely after the turn of the century. It joins only Nebraska's run in the '90s and Miami's run of the '80s-'00s as the only three such runs to take place at all during the era of scholarship limitations.
It's extremely rare for ANY program to do this in this age of parity.

Correct verbiage is divorced
A&M felt like they deserved better and have already shown this in the SEC
Throughout all sports A&M has vastly improved since the days of the BDF

It was only because you morons declined to join the SEC and be lap dogs to Texas that LSU and A&M stopped playing. You morons were too chicken shite to join the SEC.
It wasn't about bravery. We didn't have the political capital to do it then. It wasn't until the LHN was on the scene that we were allowed to go on the very simple "they got their toy now we want ours" argument.

I don't know, they've already won the Sun Belt (something ULM has failed to do).

I had already declared an end to all of this, and you take a punch as I walk back to my corner?
I was trying to get out before you found this. But, for the record, UAB was at home, too. Truce?

Yea, tough to top 1976-1979 + 1992 for Alabama (and a solid but not spectacular 1980's).
LSU did win a couple of SEC titles in the 80's but overall the program suffered major inconsistencies from '76 through '95 with 7 different head coaches. (Sadly Bo Rein died tragically without coaching a game)
8 losing seasons in that 20 year stretch. Easy to see why the big turnaround in this rating system as the '96-'15 period included only 2 losing seasons.(98-99).
