I was talking about VCU.
LSU plays in the PMAC, VCU plays in the Siegel Center.

UK and Florida are going to be great.

Tenn, LSU, Mizzou, Bama, and Arky have a chance to be pretty good and make the tourney.

Yep. I caught on. Didn't realize you were a VCU fan as well.

Holy shite, that is exactly what happened. That is pathetic.

RT @SethEmerson: Mark Fox is indeed the coach who voted his own Georgia team No. 25 in the preseason poll, a team spokesman says.

can't wait to watch the VCU-SLU games this year. Likely a battle for first in the A10.

Not sure what the future holds for the A10. I know SLU fans were hoping for the new Big East invite that never came.

I was upset to see Butler leave. That could of been a good base for a conference, having them, VCU, and SLU. Richmond can be pretty solid in basketball, and La Salle just made the sweet 16 last year. Hopefully it will remain a pretty solid conference, and the top mid major. Either way, it's still better than the CAA. VCU doesn't have to win the conference tourney to get a bid, which is nice.

Bama clearly getting our moneys worth from Grant.

Just give him time to install his system.

I'd trade Fox for Grant. Fox will show occasional flashes of actual good coaching, but can't recruit worth a lick. At least Grant can recruit.

It boggles my mind why UGA isn't a perennial top 10 program. I know we have a virtually non-existent basketball history, but all it would take is a good coach who realizes what a gold mine the job is and our AD to pay him a few mill a year. Problem solved.

The A10 might of been better last year. But I think the SEC is getting better. UK had a down year(for them) last year. LSU is getting better. Some of the really down teams are hopefully getting a little better too, to improve the bottom of the SEC.

It's not just the A10, the mwc was better to. The SEC was the worst conference from any midmajor and of all the BCS conferences. With that said, the SEC should be glad that there is no more Big East vs. SEC challenge to ruin the RPI of the conference. Conversely, that takes away a good chance to boost it as well. Flat out, stop losing to Shitty teams and it will get respect. Start winning tournaments and the RPI will go up. UK and UF can't do it by themselves and they need to be challenged. Mizzou, stop fricking choking in the tournament and get to a final four.

I don't follow SEC bball as well as football but I expect Kentucky and Florida to run the show. LSU should progressively get better now that recruiting is up. Mizzou, who the hell knows. One game they look amazing and then they look sloopy the next. Scar has a good coach can he make their team better? Is UT a sleeper?

Lots of variables in the SEC but UK will likely reestablish themselves after a terrible outing last year.

you have no IDEA, butler was here for a season and finished 4th and got invited. They also said the best chance for SLU was in two years anyway.

UGA needs a massive facility upgrade too. A coach can only take you so far, he needs a committed AD.

Our experiment of trying this hasn't been an utter failure, but has yet to realize what it could and should be.

I think we have a Top 25 team and make the tourney this year. We get one of our best players back in maymon who was Out all year with the injury, return Jordan McRae, J Richardson, and J. Stokes and upgraded the point with Bartons transfer from Memphis. And add 5* Freshmen Robert Hubbs. If Martin cant make a run with that team he's probably not the one

I wonder if the Big East regrets that now that Stevens has left. Hopefully Shaka sticks around. It's a good sign that he has turned down offers from NC State, Illinois, and UCLA.
And at least we got a small bit of revenge on them from the Final Four in our 1 season in the same conference.

UGA would be different though. We have a FAR superior recruiting base, and a pretty sweet practice facility. And stegeman isn't the best, but the recent renovations really helped. It is, at absolute worst case, on par with coleman.

You could take 10 guys within 2 hours of Atlanta and make it to the sweet 16 every year. We just havne't had a coach who could bring them in.
