More expansion would be only way to change divisions.

Iron Bowl first game of the year would be epic.

9 game sec schedule with an opening weekend of all sec games needs to happen

I miss playing Florida and Tennessee. Always a great atmosphere when we play and very little disdain between the fanbases.

Reading all the replies, and with this talk going on again year after year, I still scratch my head and wonder what in the hell is Missouri doing in the SEC, period, let alone the West div.!

Auburn has only played Clemson 3 times in the regular season since 1971, and playing this year and next.

tired of 5 games over 50 years?

why does Auburn always get singled out to move to the East?

Seems like they would make Aub-Bama a protected game and bump Tennessee for Bama to rotating basis. Aub-UGA now yearly, they will have room to add protected game.

They should move auburn to the east and have them rotate each year with Tenneessee playing against Alabama. Move Mizzou to the west or kick them out and bring in somebody else...like anyone else

I've always wanted Alabama to play Tennessee as the last game of the season. Still want Auburn on the schedule because it's such a heated rivalry, but I always wanted it be similar to Michigan's schedule where they play MSU in the middle of the year, then play OSU as the last game.

Could happen. Maybe Georgia and Auburn play the last game of the year. Georgia dominates GTECH. The AU-UGA series is led by one game. The intensity is also pretty high too. My friend at AU is from Newnan and he hates UGA way more than Alabama.

Florida Atlantic. Just as bad in football but the weather is much nicer.

I do not really care for the Tennessee game. I would rather beat Auburn ever year.

They draw their student a lot from Georgia and Florida...lot of long time history with East teams like UT and UF not to mention UGA. Plus the balance of the conference seems wonky with Mizzou in the east. It's not really helping Mizzou much either.

Hell, doesn't AU offer instate tuition to some HS student from Georgia? Thought I heard that somewhere.

That won't happen. If forced to choose, Bama has said the TSIO will remain. Go back and look....Bama has way more history with UT than we do with AU.

i guess SEC did away with the permanet cross division rival game?
it seems like GA and Auburn play every year.

Clem plays G Tech in the other division every year.

SEC scheduling is retarded.

Go to 9 or 10 game schedule and do away with divisions.

What the hell are you talking about? Moving AU to the East means they have four Big Six teams. That is wonky

Well no AU's is UGA and Bama's is UT....but if AU moved to the East we would likely have to go to 9 conference games to keep AU permanently.

I just want someone to explain how AU plans to get the current East teams to vote to allow them to move there.
