re: OSU Pitcher is a Child Molester

I understand the hatred for this guy and I agree he is disgusting and should not be around children. He should never have been allowed to play baseball at OSU if they were aware of his past. He apparently has now quit the team and that's what he should have done.

I pose a question to many of you who have expressed the wish of death, castration etc upon this guy. What if this happened in YOUR family. This was YOUR brother who did such a heinous crime. Would you wish death on your brother?

Probably not but I'd understand it when others did.

Objectively, he, or at the very least his parents, should understand that he was able to dodge an enormous bullet, just to not be spending his life in prison. If not forever, at least the time from the conviction up until and including the current moment.

They should have the common sense (not much is required for this) to understand that if it becomes publically known what he did, he will become universally reviled and his life will become a living hell.

With that in mind, anybody with one iota of care and influence with this guy should have advised him to lead as private a life as possible, not to thrust himself into the public spotlight.

I want to know how the hell he was playing baseball on scholarship at oregon state to begin with? Osu had to know he was a damn pedophile child molester. Not only should he not be able to play baseball anymore bc who wants to be associated with a pos like that? But he is going to have a tough time finding a regular job. The guy failed to update his sex offender registration in Oregon and that's how the reporter found out. shite like that shouldn't be swept under the rug anyway. I'm glad he's getting blasted and hope he gets maximum reprocussions in his personal life. That's just me, and I'm not sorry for feeling that way.
