Have some class, leave it in the past.

"unfortunate mistake" that happened multiple times over 2 years

He did it multiple times over several years.

Wish this kind of stuff wouldn't be picked up by news media. Nobody ever thinks about the victim of these cases and how they feel when this stuff gets broadcasted for everyone to see - when in reality, they should be the only person whose feelings are taken into consideration.

Very sad situation.

The mother of the victim told The Oregonian that she's "appalled that the college he's going to would even have him on their team." She said her daughter was young enough that "she doesn't really remember everything that happened" but that because most of the Heimlich family has sided with Luke, her daughter has been ostracized from family events.

"He got two years of counseling and classes," she said. "My daughter's life has been changed for the rest of her life."

That's awful, but she's probably better off without those losers.

You are fricked up. People go to jail for looking at pedophilia online and this guy was actually doing it and you're saying give him a pass since 2 years of molestation is a "family issue"

I'm sorry. Oregon State needs to kick him off the team now.

Sickens me how sports have become so important that things like this are overlooked.

Don't defend that shite. If I'm reading this correctly, some reporter accidentally stumbled upon this guy's name and did some digging. You think anyone in that family, especially the young girl, appreciates all that being brought out for the world?

Ridiculous.

Old News. Juvenile issue

15 year olds know better than that

There's scientific evidence supporting the fact that pedophiles are hard wired that way. Meaning, this guy is still a danger and it doesn't matter that this happened when he was 15

"Childish mistake"? CHILDISH MISTAKE? A childish mistake is staying out past curfew, egging one's house, cheating on an exam. Sticking your finger up (age 4-6) your relative's vagina when you are 10+ years older is not a "childish mistake".

You're fricked up in the head.

Sure, JoePa, we'll keep it quiet for you.

We all did stupid shite around that age that can be classified as a juvenile issue. Fingering a 4 year old girl isn't among them.
