Colorado State would be a great add to Big12 and get them the Colorado market back.

Actually, I would like to see that. Our OC, Mike Bobo, just became their HC. Would quickly become a tough place to establish his resume though.

If we are going to take a DFW school it should be SMU.

Why?

Because I want SEC games 15 minutes away from my house and I want to see the University Park NIMBYs freak the hell out over it.

very true

WVU vs an improved Tenner would be a fun east matchup IMO

TCU/Baylor would add just about as close to nothing as possible.

It would be equivalent to adding Memphis or Tulane.

Call me crazy but I still believe that eventually Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will stay together and go to the Pac 12 (forming the Pac 16). I think the SEC grabs WVU and TCU which helps expand the eastern and western footprint. The Big 10 grabs Kansas and Kansas State, leaving Iowa State and Texas Tech kind of out in the cold and stuck having to join the Mountain West. After all this happen Notre Dame sees the writing on the wall and joins the ACC as a full member and UConn joins the ACC as well. The Power 4 conferences would all have 16 teams, 9 game conference schedule and a conference championship game. The College Football Playoff goes to at least an 8 team playoff, guaranteeing each conference 2 teams.

I think four team playoffs with five power conferences will add to this stress. Big12 looks most vulnerable right now.

From a geographic standpoint, Colorado State isn't bad.

Memphis State is a really solid basketball program and within the SEC footprint.

They screwed the pooch by not getting Louisville. The above are their best bet to get to 14 and have it make some sense. Boise State is nowhere. Cincinnati is too far outside the footprint. IMO.

If it had to be big 12 teams, then Oklahoma and West Virginia.

A lot of fans said road trips to WVU are not good. Fans treated opposing fans like shite. Are like the trashy California pro sports fans of college football.

I'm just glad none of these morons suggesting, TCU,wvu, osu are going to have anything to do with expansion.

Id take Texas if it meant no LHN.

Road trips to Austin every few years would be great. They are also a perennially underperforming program so I look forward to the Ws.

Let's take the couch burners. Then we can grab VT and we'll have 3 couch burning schools in the SEC with UK, WVU and VT.

Baylor won't go to the PAC in your scenario. It would be tu, Tech, OU, and OSU.

Baylor and TCU will not have seats at the table when the music stops.

It's W. Va. seriously. A small state with no pro teams and crazy fans. And it seems like people never remember that WVU has a big following in Pittsburgh and a decent one in DC.

Nothing wrong with TCU and Baylor joining if the Big 12 goes up in flames. They probably both have a wealthy alumni base.

Again in this scenario it is what you are NOT going to get which is better than what you are going to get.

Isn't Mississippi's population larger than Arkansas?
