If a (3) loss season this year, serious arse whippin from TCU last year bowl game is impressive, OK? Hang another banner.

If not for Bama we'd spend our time talking about what a dumpster fire Ole Miss is- all that talent and 4 loss seasons....plus drugs, agents and Ho's.

They took a big step based on talent alone. But overall I don't see that they created any momentum beyond that 1st class.

Eh. Good recruiting or not, losing three early-entry first round draft picks and possibly their starting QB will be a tough act to come back from.

They lose pretty much everyone off this team who's name you would know.

Memphis lost their coach. I'm confident Freeze will at least close the gap a bit.

Only an aggie could come to love another team that so resembles what they accomplish every year. Nothing. But they do sound realllly good, all those 5 stars and all. Another mid season NC team on the horizon looks like to me.

Is this where I say "ooh, he mad"?

Nkemdichie
Tunsil
Treadwell
Ward
Elston
F. Cooper
M. Hilton
D. Nkemdichie
J. Walton

Players returning who are big names:
T. Connor
E. Engram
C. Kelly
D. Stringfellow
Q. Adeboyjo
B. Speaks
J. Patterson
R. Conyers
M. Pack
+ a lot more.

Bottom line is that if Little is as advertised and we shore up the Safety spot we will have a chance to be really good on offense and more than serviceable on defense next year.

Is the big Confederate cemetery down behind the Colosseum on the tour for Freeze's recruits. It's not labeled on the official campus map. Wonder why?

Well, this thread brought out the reb-hatin' corndogs.

I seriously did not intend to troll anyone except for taking the opportunit to get in a slight Bama dig and continue my homoerrotic sheep sodomy meltdown.

Seriously, Ole Miss is the only program other than Alabama that seems to have a unified fan base and AD, with the only WTF being a loss to Memphis, and no defections. The program appears very stable.

I would fear going to hell for my Old Mrs. envy if I were a religious person.

You're young and haven't been following Ole Miss or SEC football very long. Do you realize that State won 10 games last year, and Ole Miss won 9 this year. According to history, these seasons, for both teams, are an anomaly. Ole Miss will step back next year, back to reality, as they say. This year's OM team lost to a fired up Memphis team that's full of 2 star recruits. Don't overreact.

Same reason LSU doesn't advertise where the nickname "Tigers" comes from.

Stanford was a dumpster fire historically until about 10 years ago. Things change but for the most part, I agree with you.

But beat Bama and LSU that are full of 4 and 5 stars? Your logic seems flawless there Aristotle.

Has Engram said he is coming back? I would think he would be a candidate to leave as I don't think he would really improve his draft stock much by coming back for a year. (Probably a 3rd rounder or so either way).

Yeah, the NFL is getting a lot of good Ole Miss players this year. I know they are still recruiting great, but I think next year will be slight step back.

Granted, if they keep doing as well recruiting, I expect them to be competing every year once they fully stack their cupboards.

Is Swag definitely coming back? That would be huge for them next year.
