you're right. they are. lsu doesn't have a banner of a ring in their stadium, though. in fact, there isn't a single prominent banner for the 2011 season. lsu has three banners for claimed national titles and banners for 2 retired numbers

You left off the part where Ole Miss had a double digit lost to freaking Memphis and lost to Texas Tech that year. Lost to LSU on your home field. Ole Miss barely beat number 23 Oklahoma State by 3 points in their bowl game.
You guys are really hanging a banner for this season.

Just kidding, we don't think an East Championship is worthy of a banner or a sexy permanent font on the stadium.

You are reading too much into it. He simply meant, Rosa Parks refused to sit in the back of the bus on December 1, 1955. Ole Miss won 4 SEC championships AFTER that date.

I can not wait for LSU to mess up Ole Miss's super special season again just like last year.
