Baylor beat TCU head to head. Each had one loss in the conference. Baylor and TCU had to share the title.
LSU beat Ole Miss head to head. Each had one loss in the conference. LSU had a double digit loss at home in Tiger Stadium to Florida. Ole Miss beat that same team on the road in the Swamp. LSU beats OM by 3 points with the Rebs having a chance to win in the final minute. Ole Miss and LSU share the co-division championship.

a prominent banner for a division title, shared or not, is hilarious and pathetic. if i were an ole miss fan, i'd want it taken down. it should be embarrassing that you have so few accomplishments the past 50 years you have to resort to a co division banner, even that having occurred 12 years ago. might as well have a banner for a peach bowl appearance last season

The SEC does. Therefore they have tiebreakers. LSU represented the West. I'm sorry that you do not agree with the tiebreakers apparently, but the SEC has them, the Big 12 had no need for them.

why are you using transitive property in a season where you have h2h to compare the two? moral victories? lsu beat ole miss. lsu went to atlanta. lsu stomped uga in atlanta. lsu won the sec. lsu defeated oklahoma for the national title. dwi

What's embarrassing about losing one game in your conference and that loss being 3 points to the eventual national champion? LSU was good that year, and we were too. Easily the #2 team in the league.
These are embarrassing.
