Sounds like an upset waiting to happen, or is it?

Memphis is good and will be ready to play you all.

Lastly, why the hell do you play shitty OOC games on the road?

I mean it's not that much of a road game for them. Lots of Ole Miss fans live in Memphis. It will probably be split 50/50. I actually read the game sold out...should be a fun environment.

Ole Miss should win but if they lose they will never hear the end of it.

I definitely take the game seriously and you better believe the whole program does. Those guys are pretty good and this is their biggest game of the year.

Terrible defense and the one semi decent defense they've faced (USF) gave their offense trouble. Plus there will be more Ole Miss fans than Memphis fans at the game.

Short answer. No.

State has a much better chance of losing to LA Tech this weekend than we do against Memphis. Not scared...

Not scared...

But Ole Miss has everything to lose and Memphis his nothing to lose.

Memphis has no defense to speak of, and their quarterback is legit. He could start for pretty much any SEC school this year.

In retrospect, the scheduling of this made no sense since they are usually shitty. That's my point. Good SEC teams don't schedule these types of OOC games.

1991 against Syracuse if you're talking regular season.

Two programs can talk absolutely zero shite about scheduling: Florida and Mississippi State.

There's no reason for Memphis to be ranked while Temple isn't.

It kind of benefits Ole Miss recruiting to get additional exposure to Tennessee while UT is down

that being said, I'd think that exposure should come in the form of a neutral site game in Nashville than a short trip to an away game with a team that should be a rent-a-win

They should be...of the city and the sketchy arse area around the Liberty Bowl.

As for the football team, OM would have to turn it over a lot to stop itself from scoring a ton on that garbage defense.

People said the same about Temple/Penn State earlier this year... Penn State fans will drown out Temple fans even though its a Temple home game
