I was going to think of something clever to say, but I'm still in recovery. Here ya go...

Text Version...
1. Alabama - Alabama overcame some questionable play calling in the red zone to beat Texas A&M 33-14. The defense played lights out, but lost AA Safety Eddie Jackson for the rest of the season. Next up is LSU in two weeks. Please pray for the Rant.
2. Texas A&M - The perfect game was needed to defeat Bama on the road. If you find it or know where it is, call the Texas Aggies and let them know for next year.... With our hardest games behind us our schedule sets up well for a strong finish. Time to prepare for New Mexico State and get healthy.
3. Auburn - Auburn took a page out of the Bill Clinton playbook and treated Arkansas like a female campaign intern. They got straight raped.
4. LSU - LF pretty much killed someone enroute to breaking LSU's All Time Single Game Rushing Record. Ole Miss kept it close at the half after an LSU fumble, but LSU's defense kept the the Rebel's scoreless in the second half. Bring on bye week2.0...we ready for you this time.
5. Tennessee - Open Week gave us the opportunity to get rested and healed going into the weak home stretch of the schedule. There's a good chance we could be near full strength soon thankfully.
6. Florida - UF plays Georgia (4-3, 2-3), @ Arkansas (5-3, 1-3), and South Carolina (3-4, 1-4) in the next 3 weeks. That's 3 teams with 4 combined SEC wins. I know some people question how good this Florida team really is, but they very well could be 8-1 riding into Baton Rouge on the 19th of November.
7. Arkansas - The field goal was excellent...the rest, not so much. The Hogs were humiliated. They couldn't get any facet of their game going at anytime. There's not anything more you can say about it.
8. Ole Miss - Losing our starting LT was a big part of our lack of offense, but the real story here is LOL @ our run D.
9. Georgia - Another week to stew over a bad loss to Vandy. We still don't know who this team is, but the feeling is we suck. Our win over UNC is looking like a fluke. There's not much confidence going in to the WLOCP; but if we frick up and win, it saves the season for many in our fanbase.
10. Kentucky - Kentucky survives MSU. Missouri on the road this week. I smell a rematch with Alabama in December coming. We are not just a basketball school after all.
11. Vanderbilt - A win brought Vandy back to .500, though it wasn't exactly smooth sailing. The first half saw Tennessee State sprint to an early lead. Fortunately, Mason made adjustments at halftime that shut out TSU for the rest of the game, and the offense coasted on the performance of its running game. However, after watching the Auburn-Arkansas game, bowl eligibility is looking more and more remote.
12. South Carolina - Bentely came in and energized our offense. Once he gets a bit of experience under his belt, we could sneak a win we shouldn't and possibly make a bowl. Special teams have been awful all year though, and may cost us.
13. Mississippi State - No Comment.
14. Missouri - We do what we do. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.

So you want UT ranked higher because they have some really good losses?

Tennessee has played a tougher schedule than LSU and Auburn up to this point and all have the same record with Tennessee having much better wins

Tennessee doesn't have much better wins than anyone. Tennessee doesn't have any good wins. You are living in a dream land. Approaching levels of deLSUion.

At least Auburn didn't take a sunbelt team into OT or need a 4th QTR TD to win by 9 over a MAC team

I disagree, Tennessee has had a tougher schedule than LSU and it's losses are to the #1 and 9 teams.

no, i just wonder why every time one of these lists are posted some vol fan has to be a huge gaping vagina. you or shaft (who thinks his shite doesn't stink regardless of whatever he posts, yet someone else says a word and he has a damn cow).

btw- i don't vote so evidently there's a lot of folks who don't 'respect' the big bad vols enough for you and your brethren's weak arse sensitivities.

We went to double OT with backups against a team that beat the shite out of you so how bad must that make Auburn?

Sarge you are making the mistake of thinking that losses to only good teams mean you are a good team.

I specifically said Tennessee doesn't have any good wins. How can you disagree? What good wins do they have? They have played tougher opponents sure, but they haven't beaten any of those tough opponents. Virginia Tech and Florida are the mountains they have climbed. LSU is getting some credit because LF7 looked really good against OM. Personally I would put UT at 4 and LSU at 5, but UT still hasn't won any good games. That was the entire point of the argument.

Disclaimer: I did not say Tennessee was a bad team. We just don't have the information to say they are a great team. If they win their bowl game, we will talk. The rest of their schedule is all cupcakes.

In before LSU fans come in and whine that we are talking about their sacred football team that no one else is allowed to talk about
