If the ACC wasn't such a great conference then why did South Carolina only win it once?

i think the ACC would be better if we could offload UNC, Wake and Duke and perhaps UVA.

if that academic scandal that happened at UNC happened at Clemson or FSU, the conference probably put us on probation. nothing will happen to UNC.

Because we're a shite program? Never denied this.

I'm saying the conference wasn't great back then BECAUSE we won it, and we didn't leave because we couldn't compete.

For once, we agree. Although FSU may have some pull. If Clemson keeps it up they may get some too

ACC isn't a 1 sport league. UNC and Duke are important members. Wake and NCState, not at all.

ACC with Miami, FSU, Clemson, and VTech have 4 schools that can dominate.

You left out UNC as a team that can dominate.
Blue Blood in basketball.
Getting much better under Fedora in football.
Top 10 in baseball and regularly dominates in its 26 non revenue sports (Always ranked in the top 5 Director's cup or whatever it is called this year).

ACC's improvement due to new coaching hires and its outstanding qbs. If you don't believe it, watch the NFL draft this year. Watson and Trubisky may both go in the top 10 this year.

That's what Princeton and Harvard used to say about the Ivy.

Good lord. Are we going to have to listen to this ACC garbage for another seven months?

Thanks, Alabama.

guess when Auburn loses 3 in a row to Clemson, probably not in position to predict not only a win at Clemson, but a blowout. lol

can't think of a program more overated than Auburn based on a few good seasons.

Every talking point the Coots have thrown at us - that Clemson is little more than a glorified directional school who has no business being on the field the big boys of college football, that we play in a lesser conference, that we play a schedule full of patsies, that Dabo is just a cheerleader & clown who doesn't even know football, that once we got to the playoff we'd get outcoached & outclassed by Urban Meyer & Ohio State, that once we got to the finals we'd be soundly whipped by Bama - has been decisively refuted. Even more delicious, in winning the national championship, we took down the mighty colossus whose coattails they've been clinging to so pathetically.

The Clemson Tigers are the best team in college football & the 2016 national champion - it's been settled on the field. The ACC in 2016 was the best conference in college football - & the numbers back it up. So what could be any possible retort to that?

Well now we're seeing it. Even after the ACC compiled a 10-4 record vs. the SEC, compiled by far the best record among the Power 5 against non-conference foes & a 9-3 record in the bowls, I'm reading here that the SEC is still better than the ACC because TV ratings; because "prestige"; because Georgia, Florida, LSU, Auburn, etc. are bigger names than Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Duke, Virginia, etc. That's Coot logic at its finest!

I'm always willing to give SC fans props for sticking with their team through many a miserable season. But for fans of a program that's never won much of anything, they sure do talk a lot. Bama! Baseball! SEC! Bama! Baseball! SEC! Bama! Baseball! SEC!

Clemson fans get so triggered about us talking anything SEC. WERE IN THE SEC. Of course we talk about the SEC.

If you tatertards don't like us talking about the conference we're in, the ACC rant domain is available.
