Here's an idea. Why don't you tell me how BC, WF, Syracuse, Duke, and UVA do emphasize football.
so when Cuse beat Clemson in a bowl in 95 40-0, they weren't emphasizing football?
When Wake won ACC 10 years ago, no emphasis on football. they have recently built a new expensive football facility but no emphasis on it?
when UVA fired a coach and hired another one, no emphasis on football?
When BC had good teams when Matt Ryan was QB, was there no emphasis on football.
by your own logic, there must be no emphasis on football at SC because SC is the biggest loser school in football with a stadium that big. lol

This is an example of the ACC losing to the Big East.

Wake winning the conference should show you how bad of shape the rest of the conference was in.

Please tell me how well that's worked out for them and how much UVA fans, if you can find any, care?

You think having one good player is an emphasis? What's their record since then?
Do you really need to see those attendance pics when BC was playing in the ACC title game?
Seriously, are you arguing that any of those schools emphasize football more than SC?

So the ACC wins a championship in football over Bama.
Now the ACC has scheduled their Media Days on the same days as the SEC has been holding ours for the past 25 years.
Power play .... or not?
Are they making their move?
I don't know if I've ever seen someone troll themselves quite as effectively as this.

Wasn't Clemson supposed to leave the ACC with y'all back in the late 60s?
Yes ... they backed out at the last minute during the meetings in Raleigh - and for the most part their fans have regretted it every since until recently.
Just recently they began to realize how much easier it was/is to get to the BCS/playoffs playing in the ACC vs the SEC ... so they're loving it now.

got to the playoffs this year with two wins over SEC teams and then beat a SEC team the other SEC teams can't play with. Given Clemson destroyed SC, a team that was competitive in SEC games, it is incredible a SC fan acts like the SEC is too good for CU. lol
. only loss was to a 4 loss Pitt team.
i've never heard any felllow CU alumni complain about playing in ACC.

if it emphasis and results are the same thing, how can you argue SC has emphasis on football?

Clemson is loving it now because they're kicking arse on the field.
The SEC is all but guaranteed to get a team in the playoffs each year. Win and you're in, just like us. Before you spout your typical ACC garbage, take a look at which division USCe plays in first. No excuse to be that bad in that shitty division.
Quit complaining and get better. That half-assed attempt at a football complex (according to your AD), should be a step in the right direction.

$50 million is half assed?
Just because it's not a kiddie playground with slides, trampolines, a hill to tumble down and a ball pit doesn't mean it's half-assed.

You are really giving the South Carolina rides the SEC coattails narrative some traction

There's probably a lot of truth to this.

There's not. We won the ACC 3 years before we left. Let's not kid ourselves with the idea of the ACC being some great conference back then.
We left because of the bitchy favoritism for the North Carolina schools. Clemson was even discussing leaving because of it, but they backed down.
