I am amazed at some of the Bama fans that think Smart went after Smith and talked him into leaving Alabama. Never mind that he left saying he was going to Baylor. Their thing is Smart talked him into leaving Alabama to come to Georgia.

Like it or not, if you named the top 10-15 Universities in the country the majority would be concentrated in the North and the West.

While I agree with your basic point, maybe swap Stanford for Cal-Berkeley. UVA, Vandy, and Duke are on the same level as Cal.

I didn't put them into any particular order. Just trying to get a side by side look at the better colleges in the nation, so he might realize that the South, while having some pretty good universities cannot say we are equal to the North and West. But your point is an excellent one, in that our best are equal to their lowest.
We have a long way to go.

North: Harvard, MIT, Yale, Princeton, Brown, U Penn....that's most of the Ivy's
South: Emory, Duke,GT, UNC, UVA, UGA, Vandy, UF, Miami, SCAD (hint)
