Certainly the very best football is located in the Southeastern US at this time. But, Ohio State and Michigan are trying to change that.

He wasn't talking about you. That was squarely aimed at mattloc.

I wasn't talking to you, that's correct.
I'm talking to someone without an education.

Well, no one is picking which recruits they want out of Georgia anymore, so that's changed.

For now, but people said the same when Richt was first hired. Every coach can sell their crap at first, see Butch Jones, but if he doesn't win in the first couple of years it will go back to same ole same ole.

However, I think (assuming Eason comes close to living up to expectation) there's almost no way they won't win big pretty soon in a crappy East.

Things will definitely be interesting. Richt just kept underperforming most years and I'm still not sure hiring a guy with zero HC experience and all his real coaching experience under a guy being a puppet basically was the way to go.

Saban basically got Smart a 4 million dollar deal which is pretty sweet for him, but now he actually has to coach a football team to greatness, he doesn't have Saban controlling things for him. Kevin Steele could be the DC at alabama and the defense would still be great. Will be interesting to see what even just the defense at UGA looks like in year 1. UGA's defense was really good last year, be interesting to see if that keeps up.

So I just get paid for living north of the Mason Dixon line?

Wal-Mart currently has 2 for 1 Tide shirts. Go get yours and stop insulting people with ignorant comments.

Knowledgeable bama fans, as is not mattloc, know this to be false.

I've already told you about my education, although that would require you to be able to read and understand...

Let's see if you can figure it out before another poster.

Bet you can't. You don't know what SCAD is because they don't sell t shirts at Wal-Mart.

LOL

We are pretty used to the roller coaster.

Highs then big dips.

I am still not sure GA made the right call getting rid of Richt, but I think it is foolish for people to say Smart will not be a great coach.

He has the pedigree and seems to be making all the right moves.

SCAD Student review

"K Grawe
I studied Graphic Design and Painting at SCAD many years ago when it was a smaller school. Although I did enjoy the fine arts environment and made some lasting friendships there—I do not think the school did a great job of providing it’s students with real world skills that would actually pay off in the market place. My recommendation to prospective students is to talk with industry professionals that are doing the work you eventually want to do and get a feel for the job itself and also the salary it will pay. The high price of this school does not provide a good ROI (return on investment) for it’s students.

After I moved to Atlanta and attended a different art school I got the skills I needed to have a productive career, I stayed busy and could not only pay my bills but do much more. I would strongly recommend taking a look at the practical side of the education you are looking for and diligently explore your options. "

I see ....why you are unemployed

Coach Richt was a pretty consistent winner.

I get the rationale for thinking you might need new blood, but I still think he is a really good coach.

Losing to Alabama is not like an exclusive club membership. And I am sorry, but if that game had gone differently, it is my opinion he would still be the coach.

Not sure it matters much as I think Smart will be a great coach--- if anything, Miami got a much better coach than what they had and GA gets some new excitement.

You win.

You actually wore me down. You maxed my ignorance meter out. And people are trying to discuss this thread topic. Congrats you're the only bad Bama poster I've met on this board.
Again, you win.

And it's not a liberal arts degree, it's called a BFA.
