You win.
You actually wore me down. You maxed my ignorance meter out. And people are trying to discuss this thread topic. Congrats you're the only bad Bama poster I've met on this board.
Again, you win.
And it's not a liberal arts degree, it's called a BFA.
Don't take it personally son, this is just a message board and differing opinions are what drives the post count. Good luck to you in your chosen field, whatever it may be

Education
Forbes attended the prestigious Far Hills Country Day School.
But....you said liberal. You think Forbes is a liberal publication?

I'd have to build a Sonic up here, and anyway, in GA we settle our shite at Waffle House.

He has the pedigree and seems to be making all the right moves.
Only time will tell, though. Anybody that wants to try to say it was the wrong move....or the right move...well nobody knows. Nobody will know for several years. If he starts slow but builds steam he will be ok....but if he goes undefeated and plays for the SECC we will still need to wait a couple more years before crowing him a savior.

Well Steve Forbes ran for president under the Republican party so I would say he and his publication aren't liberal

There's one or two more, but most are good.

Coach Richt was a pretty consistent winner.
Underachieving winner. Most guys who question the move don't realize Uga failed to finish ranked in both polls in 4 of the past 7 seasons, and that was after the disappointing season of 2008.

My point is that the rankings are compiled largly by graduates of the very schools they are ranking...of course there is some bias. I think the better schools from the south are on par with the better schools of the north.

That's why I was shocked when he tried to insinuate Forbes was liberal.

So, your main concern is that there are intelligent people ranking the schools?
Had he gone to Duke would you be making this argument?

Golden nugget is a master handicapper so he knows UGA better than you ever will. Congrats on 7-5 bro
What of what I typed above had anything to do with this season?
I expect 8-4 regular season this year. So not that far off.

Is it your position then that there is no intelligent southerners?

I graduated from a top twenty school, according to both Forbes and US News... so yes I would in fact

hink the better schools from the south are on par with the better schools of the north.
So, which of the schools in the South are on par with Harvard, Yale, Brown, Princeton, Cornell, Dartmouth and Columbia?
Now, that is 7 schools you need to match up with. Give me 7 Southern schools that match up with them. And, don't use Emory. they've already been caught fudging numbers to inflate their worthiness.

He also had Ray Rice come speak to the team which is embarrassing.
How is that embarrassing.
When you were in middle and high school I'm sure you had people that were in prison or who had gotten in trouble before come speak to your class and such. Same type idea. Don't make the same mistake I did. How you could twist that in to a bad thing is bizarro world.
