Reed had 94 receptions for more yards and won the blit. He also secured his place as the best WR in a single season. They both won the SEC so who had a better year?

Coop had 124 receptions (SEC single season record) and won the Blit and was a Heisman finalist...he also had more yards from scrimmage, so I could make an argument that he secured his place as the best SEC WR in a single season...that being said, they were both great and stats don't necessarily mean that one was better than the other...

This isn't about the draft and the article says it

Never said it was...you said that Coop wished he was Josh Reed in 2001...I just said that his 2014 season was very comparable and got Coop selected highly in the draft, therefore I doubt Coop would've wished he was Josh Reed in 2001...

You spelled Josh Reed wrong

I absolutely love Josh Reed, but he is not ahead of Julio.
I also believe Andrew Whitworth is the best OT that he has ever coached. He only played 1 year after Saban left (i think).

Josh was also extremely underrated coming out of high school. Amari had far more hype, Josh was also recruited as a running back (thats why he wore 25) before converting to receiver.

Both are great players and I have alot of respect for Amari, I find myself partial to Josh because he's from my hometown.

On a side note it's absolutely crazy how many LSU starters from 2001-2003 switched positions from both sides of the ball when Saban came in. He definitely gets the most out of what he has.

Jack Hunt-WR to S
Corey Webster- WR to DB
Josh Reed-RB to WR
Marcus Spears- TE to DE
Devery Henderson-RB to WR

I guess you failed to notice the number of LSU and Michigan State players that dot the list.

Coop had 30 more catches, the same yardage, and 3 times as many TDs as a receiver in 2014. He won more than Reed, too. Try again.

So basically ahead of Meyer at RB and DT, behind at QB and CB and even everywhere else?

Absolutely he is. Julio has zero argument actually. The only WR in the same league is Coop

You can have the 13 yards. I'll take the 9 TDs and 30 receptions.

At least that's correct. 3x wasn't even close.

This list is horrible. Julio below plaxico? Dareus at 36 and Cody at 6? It's horrible.

Really, really makes the Reed argument so much stronger. Coop had one less TD in 2014 as Reed did in his career. 31-17 overall. This isn't even a debate.

I never said it makes Reed better. I was just pointing out your terrible, terrible math.
