All the people saying Manziel and sleeping on Mariota, why?

I haven't read all three pages, just a question.

Because SEC, duh.

Mariota, Luck and RGIII have been on almost all of the lists.

If Reggie McNeal goes to UT and VY to aTm I wonder how much we talk of McNeal as the great QB?

They were ranked 1-2 coming out of HS and played a playoff game that was supposedly unbelievable.

I am in no way saying McNeal was the better QB, but just circumstances and better players around him.

I trust that Nick Saban knows about this subject than any of us.

Forgot about Mariota. Still a notch below Watson and Newton.

VY was dominant. Bradford was dominant. Matt Leinart was dominant. Kellen Moore was dominant. Case Keenum was dominant.

if Watson was on a SEC team, i doubt this would even be debated on here.

people also forget that last year he was coming off a bad knee injury, plus Clemson lost their most talented WR in first game of the season.

So was Kingsbury, Cumby, and Halliday.

Michael Bishop was the best QB the Big XII had, with Smith being behind him and VY 3rd

If we want to go for stats only Colt Brennan and Timmy Chang were more dominant than all of them.

If Bishop wasn't dumb as a rock he'd have numbers that are amazing. But they had to dumb down the offense and took half the reads out.

If you disagree, who would rank ahead of him?

M Mariotta - 5224 total yards / 9.01 yds per play (1st NCAA)
D Watson - 5209 total yards / 7.46 yds per play (2nd ACC)

I actually think Tyrann Mathieu was more dominant. I can't ever remember a college defensive back being as good at forcing fumbles and creating havoc like Mathieu in 2011. Plus he was an exceptional returner as well.
