SEC Media Days "should" be about the team, and the upcoming season. Not about an individual player, a players trangressions, or anything that redirects the attention away from the team and the season that is fast approaching.
CGM will handle this situation, there's no point in offering up his QB the slaughter that the media would surely try to heap on Marshall.
I just fail to see what the big deal is? The kid made a mistake, they all make mistakes. IDGAF and don't want to hear about it during the SEC Media Day coverage. I'm interested in seeing what the coaches have to say about the loss of Mason, Ford, Clarke/Parkey (sp), and to see how Lawson is rehabbing from injury. You know, normal FOOTBALL stuff and not bullcrap arrests/citations/weed, etc.

Your star player, who you've touted for the Heisman, scerws up and gets in trouble with the law. By the way, this is his second infraction at 2 schools. You're worried about API's image being tarnished. That ship left out a long time ago, just not in the SEC, but across the nation. Anything that Gussy does will be trivial and not change the image of the API program.

Agree.....but if Marshall is there it takes all the attention from the good stuff we really are interested in and everyone focuses on the negative.
I will never forget the beating Chiz took at media day over Cam. I actually felt kind of sorry for him. That was brutal.
