By not letting him represent the program at media days? Come on, man.

What makes you believe he will not face consequences? As someone else said, attending media days is a privilege. Nick Marshall just had that privilege revoked. I expect more punishment to come.

So he didn't score the TD to put A&M up 41-38?

He didn't get horse-collared at the end?

0/10.

He threw himself on the ground in a manner that made South American soccer players jealous. He faked an injury, like a puss.

It was funny to watch Auburn fans jump through the logical hoops of sending him. It's a minor offense so Malzahn shouldn't suspend him, but he should let Marshall get publicly humiliated instead. I thought it was just a minor offense?

Some Auburn homer was on Sirius 91 saying that would be a worse punishment than a suspension, but in the same breath he equated the citation to a speeding ticket. Why would you publicly humiliate a guy for speeding

He isn't going to reveal the punishment. Will be full of general statements and coach speak.

It is worse than a speeding ticket. More like a minor in possession type charge. A dumb move and a mistake, but pretty minor over all.

Did I say that?

The Auburn beat writer said it was like a speeding ticket, but also said Marshall should have to face the media and be publicly humiliated. That's not really a fitting punishment for a speeding ticket, wouldn't you agree?

No I was just questioning the supposed "logical hoops" that you claimed

I dont think standing there and answering for your stupidity is humiliation.

JFF did it last year after his offseason of crap. It would have been good for Nick to do so as well but it would not have been humilating.

How is facing the media and answering questions about a minor charge considered public humiliation? Seems like people are going a bit overboard.

I'll spell it out for you one more time.

Your beat writer said the citation was no different than a speeding ticket. He then said that Marshall shouldn't be suspended, but rather publicly humiliated at media days.

Public humiliation is not a fitting punishment for a speeding ticket. Do you understand now?

I would be appolegetic and slightly embarrassed and willing to accept responsibility for what I did. Then I would move on.
