Seeding shouldn't depend on geography, that would be BS if CSF or anyone out west for that matter gets a national seed. The west coast was awful in baseball this year.

Coastal Carolina? They just got swept three games by a lower half of the ACC Georgia Tech.

think zero chance on Coastal. GT is the only series all year vs top 50 RPI and getting swept says no shot

I think right now #8 is UVA but they don't have to decide for another week. I do think it'll be an ACC team though

UC Santa Barbara is RPI 20, but 3rd in the Big West, 3 200+ losses, & 0 top 25 wins.

RPI looks good, but Fullerton beat that arse and will win the Big West. Fullerton also went 2-1 against Texas Tech in Lubbock. They are 4-3 vs. the Top 25.

If Arizona wins the Pac 12 outright, they will be considered. Of course, Arizona beat Fullerton in their one game.

Might as well switch Tech & USC so all 4 SED teams can be matched up in Omaha.

It is looking like Utah with a +100 RPI will win the Pac. How messed up is that?

3-7 in their last 10, 6th place in the ACC. I don't see it.

If the ACC gets a third, it will be Virginia.

Arizona has been mathematically eliminated from the Pac.

They have no more games (they play Hawaii next weekend) and Utah plays UW who are both in front of them right now.

Conference 16 - 10

I mean how shitty is the PAC?

Its crazy. I dont mean to sound cliche, but college baseball is my favorite sport and I follow it really closely - Ive never seen anything like what has happened to all of the West Coast this season.

Here's Utah this season: 22-26 overall, 16-10 in the Pac 12. How does one go 16-10 in the fourth best conference and 6-16 in the non-conference? And its not like they are playing SEC and ACC teams in the non-conference, The non-conference strength of schedule is 106th!

They lost 3 of 4 to Kansas/Kansas State, the two worst teams in the Big 12.
They lost 3 of 4 to Houston Baptist, then won 2 of 3 from both Oregon and Arizona State
Then they lose a midweek to Utah Valley, then SWEEP Arizona before losing to Utah Valley again.

They are actually 6-5 against the Top 50 and 8-13 against teams ranked 101-200, but did not play any sub-200 teams. The only top 25 team they played was Arizona, and they went 3-0.

as a comparison to the shitty SEC teams that didn't even make the tournament

Arkansas
Non-Conf. 19 - 6

Auburn
Non-Conf. 15 - 11

Mississippi State, Florida, and Texas A&M I think are guaranteed. I think unless South Carolina has a terrible showing in the SEC Tournament, they'll be a Super Regional host too.

SC AD Ray Tanner is going to have a lot to think about being a part of this NCAA Baseball Selection Committee.

I'm actually thinking they'll put us on the other side with 2,3,6,7

1. Louisville
2. Florida
3. A&M
4. Miami
5. Texas Tech
6. Miss State
7. South Carolina
8. Virginia

State is the only one that really seems poorly placed

Until they joined the PAC I honestly didn't even know if Utah had a team. What a terrible year for a normally strong baseball conference. Just an odd year overall really, makes me think the tournament/Omaha will be a lot of fun

Don't worry Cocks, I'm pretty damn certain you'll get a national seed anyway.
