My argument is why the frick are you so obsessed with defending Toby Gerhardt? It's the middle of the 2010 season, LSU is undefeated and you on on here bitching about why some irrelevant HB from Stanford is better than the starting HB of the team you hate and are envious of.

Mythical Championship for Bama
Well I am happy that Auburn has winning splits the last 5/10/15/20/25/30 years against the greatest college football team of all time.

Dude, you said kept in check. In no way, shape, form, or fashion did UCLA hold any of those RBs in check, allowing over 100 yards to every one of them.

Gerhardt was a junior.

Maybe he got a medical redshirt for 2007, but that says senior and he played all 4 years.

I'm out of shite to talk about. This is stupid.

I hope you both whine about Toby's injustice while Ingram beats the shite out of your teams in the coming weeks.

These motherfrickers are letting their hate for Bama get in the way of the facts, which are MI AND TR would both start over Toby Gerhart, and both will have a better NFL career than Gerhart.

I can think of multiple running backs that are just as good and maybe better than Bama's duo.

Go for it.

Best backfield of all time is

Mcfadden-Jones-Hillis

look up the top rushing leaders for this year in the NFL. I believe Dmac and Hillis are pretty high up there. Not sure where Felix is. that is 3 NFL caliber backs in the backfield.

Uh, they are. When you have a heisman winning runningback and people are talking about his backup being even better (What SEC school would Richardson NOT start for other than Alabama?) then you have a historic backfield.

It's probably already been mentioned, but they are absolutely not the best backfield ever.

How about some stats? They all turned out to be bad arse NFL rbs but that is irrelevant to this discussion.

Those are pretty fricking good.

I don't think Ingram/Richardson are the best ever. They are in the discussion though.

If anyone even mentions Craig James I will bitch slap them. I hate that pussy

I dont know enough about cfb history to argue this completely but I certainly believe they are one of the best in modern cfb since the 90's anyway.

Agreed... There have been some great running back combos out there... Pretty difficult to say which is the best.

I don't really remember Hillis being all that. Mac and Jones have the stats right now but bama has 9-10 games left. And honestly, when discussing rbs, punt / kick return yardage should be thrown out the window.
