Again, Jonathan Crompton=no passing game=very difficult to establish a good running game.

Also, you are basing all of this off of ONE game. That is pretty ignorant.

Lol, that appears to be 6 games that I just used.

Maybe you can't count though.

Once again this is Bama fans being ignorant to the fact Ingram played for YOU GUYS and Gerhart played for Stanford.

It's Gerhart's fault Stanford's defense gave up 31+ points 6 times last year?

Ingram had the luxury of 2 things Gerhart never had - a great backup taking the load off and a great defense never allowing more than 24 points all season.

What will you say when Ingram gets drafted higher?

Look, I get it, you think TG is better because he "carried his team" to an 8-5 record. Cool. Move along now.

I am bored of this.

FACT: Ingram won the 2009 Heisman Trophy and some fans who hate Alabama will always bitch about that.

Toby Gerhart was a better running back IN COLLEGE.

Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, and Peyton Hillis.

Best back field ever. 3 starting NFL runningbacks.

Told yall Hillis was better than Hester.

No, you are using ONE(1) SEC vs Pac 10 game(with a very mediocre UT team) and comparing that ONE game to 5 Pac 10 vs Pac 10 games.

Lol, unlike most of you guys I actually watched those Pac 10 backs.

I can tell you they were better than any SEC RBs with the possible exception of Ingram and Richardson.

That said, I am done with this thread, because it is like beating my head against the wall.

lol NO.

I'm comparing how Hardesty, Rodgers, Best, and LMJ did against UCLA with how Gerhart did.

Gerhardt would not have started for Alabama. If Ingram never came to Alabama, Richardson would have started over him.

This is why we all laugh at you ignorant Bamatards. Yes, the nation's LEADING rusher from last year (in terms of yards and TDs) who was a senior would of been beat out by a true freshman. What an idiot.

When everything was equalized in the combine and NFL draft,

Means absolutely nothing for college. Why do you Bama fans keep using this when it means nothing? Most heisman winners do jack in the NFL.

quote:

And since when was it not a legitimate argument to factor in the impact a player has on his overall team? Gerhardt led his team to 9 wins and irrelevancy.

Because he played for STANFORD and Ingram played for Alabama you retard. It's not like Stanford had an all-world defense last year. They gave up 31 points 6 times. Bama would of lost 4 or 5 games if they gave up that last year. That's why that argument is stupid.

lol jesus christ. he ran the ball 27 times a game. That happens when you run that much.

He also had 10 more rushing TDs.

And a much worse offensive line/

That is ONE SEC RB. A RB that had NO HELP AT ALL from his passing game.

A giant wall of correctness.

Ingram beat the shite out of your team and their great D last year and he is going to do it again tomorrow.

Get over it.

He more than likely got the ball A LOT more than MI did in the redzone. Also, MI was a much better receiver.

How so? How do you even come to this conclusion? Most of MI's yards were AFTER CONTACT.

Both Alabama fan bases are really full of themselves...it really gets tiresome listening to this bs day in and day out....

Another thing,..Finebaum's show is called a national sports show, but the only thing you hear on there most of the time is backwoods, trailer living Bammer rednecks that make an arse out of themselves every day. The best spot on the show is Barbara Dooley...
