Yes. Bottom line, if Bama/Tenn and Aub/UGA have to play each other every stupid year this is the best solution. It also makes sense geographically. Either break up the permanent cross-divisional matchups or re-align the divisions. Play and simple. Sure the East will be stronger than the West, but it was like that for years before Bama's return to glory and LSU's rise to prominence since 00. Make it happen!

So you don't want to preserve UF/LSU? What a shock.

meanwhile, as pathetic as auburn currently is, most of their fans want to play bama, georgia, and florida every year. auburn sucks but at least they have some huevos

Immature geeks want to prove their manhood, while mature adults should want a fair competition.

If you want to prove you got huevos, the Vegas Casinos are waiting for you. Go play against the house odds and see who wins the money--but you proved you got stupid huevos.

While you are in Vegas, bet your house on Florida against LSU and Tennessee against Bama--if you got the huevos.

I hope you like scrambled huevos.

anyone opposed to Bama and Auburn moving to the East (in exchange for Vandy and Missouri) doesn't understand football.

You never make your own schedule.
Just win your games.
The cream always rises to the top.

In a playoff mentality, every game is important on your schedule. Don't worry about who your opponent plays because it has zero affect on your ability to win or lose.

Both Georgia and Bama were given their titles by the phony-baloney bridge schedule last year.

Without the manipulation of the SEC schedules last year, you could not have had both Bama and Georgia in the SEC C.G.

Bama gets Georgia taken off its schedule and TAM gets Florida put on their schedule.

Bama loses to TAM, but still wins the divisional title. And you say schedules don't matter--B.S.!

So it would have been Bama And Florida in the SECCG again.

Who knows? But we do know that if TAM had Tennessee instead of Florida on their schedule like Bama, TAM would have been in, and Bama would have been out.

We also know, Bama can never get LSU's schedule this year with Georgia and Florida--never ever can happen with an 8 game schedule.

Thanks for your concern. Which present thread do you suggest?

How many more divisional titles do the Bama fans think they can gain from the permanent opponent rule before it goes ba-bye?

Those divisions seem a little unbalanced.

Doesn't matter. It preserves UT-Bama and AU-UGa as perennial rivalries. That's all that matters. Balance and fairness are of no concern.

The schedule didnt give the division to georgia and bama.

South carolina losing to florida (who georgia beat) did.
And LSU losing to Bama did.

South carolina cant worry about who georgia does or doesnt play... because they find ways to lose to the auburns and floridas that are on both uga and usc's schedule.

Win and they are in.
Instead, they crap the bed.

Ive never heard a uga fan complain about the schedule.
We schedule tougher OOC than anyone in conference.
Hell... we're playing at Auburn 2 years in a row.
It is what it is. let's play some football.

You think logically. Just win who they put in front of you. I know people will say they did beat Bama but Bama got another shot. Well, they beat LSU like a rented mule the second time...so I guess that would make them the better team.

Funny thing is, nobody else really bitches about the schedule. I'm with you, don't give a frick who's in what division, just play football.
