Get to comparable team's to add to the west and send Bama and Auburn to the east, no problem. Most Bama fans would agree with that but you have to add comparable teams to the west. Depending on how well aTm maintains their level of success has yet to be seen and Arkansas has been too inconsistent. I am sure LSU would love a division with no one who can compete with them. Hopefully th playoff system will allow for sec team's with a loss or two to be in the top four when you will have OH St or some other undefeated school coming out of a conf the equivalent of conf USA.

meanwhile, as pathetic as auburn currently is, most of their fans want to play bama, georgia, and florida every year. auburn sucks but at least they have some huevos

That's the funniest thing about LSU's crying about the schedule.

When you get down to the meat of the problem it is they are scared of playing Florida annually. Terrified.

They feel it is probably going to be an automatic loss from now on so they hope to change things. Pretty pathetic IYAM.

Should I link the entire SEC Rant and TigerDroppings or would you prefer me provide a link to each of the threads which pop up daily with some LSU fan crying about scheduling?

The funniest thing is that nothing really changed. You guys have played Florida every year no differently than we have played Tennessee..... well there is one change.

Florida is on the rise. You're scared. The entire SEC knows it, the entire world of college football knows it.

If Florida was still average and Tennessee was on the rise, we wouldn't hear a pin drop from you guys and we wouldn't whine and cry because we aren't scared of competition.

Make no mistake, this would be the ideal solution.

But Bama so scared to play in the East.

So in your opinion, cancelling Georgia vs Alabama during the regular season last year didn't help those teams win their division--Right!

Auburn going to the east makes sense, bama not as much. UF is not pleased with the idea of playing auburn every year you are nuts if you think they will sign off on bama moving as well.

No, I want you to find me a link of a LSU fan saying they are scared to play UF. Don't link a LSU fan talking about wanting a balanced schedule.

You must not be on here but much but I'm always seeing LSU fans who DON'T want to lose the Florida game. And I'm also included in that bunch. But of course you'll ignore them and throw the "you're scared" on the entire fanbase. Why in the hell should we be scared of Florida? We've won 2 of the last 3 and gave them the biggest arse whipping they've received from LSU only 2 seasons ago.

Well, Georiga and Tennessee have been far tougher opponents for Alabama over the years than LSU has. Feel free to go check the series records. Looks like one of the biggest perks of staying in the West is getting to play a weaker LSU program every year.

This is better, more balanced.

South East: Bama, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia

North West: Vandy, Miss State, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, Ole Miss

B12: Auburn, A&M

I give you a F. LSU has beaten Alabama 3 time since the last times Tennessee beat Alabama. When's the last time Georgia beat Alabama?

How is LSU becoming a weaker program?

Florida and LSU will split their games 50/50 while their main competitors will rake in the divisional titles. Georgia winning 60 to 70% of their games with Auburn, and Bama winning 90 to 100% of their games with Tennessee.

TAM vs USCar will probably work out 60/40 for TAM while Spurrier stays. After that, TAM will kill.

Ah yes, I see the confusion, I said over the years. While college football was established in Baton Rouge circa 2000, other schools have been playing it for well over 100 years.

Alabama - Tenn series record: 50–37–8 (.568) Bama
Alabama - UGA series record: 37-25-4 (.591) Bama
Alabama - LSU series record: 47-25-5 (.643) Bama

Again, I will repeat just go through these forums looking at the thousands of crying LSU fans whining about schedules. Are there some fans like you that want to keep it? Yes, however the majority are scared and crying for a change. The same fans weren't whining when Tennessee were great or when Florida were down. Now they are whining obviously because they are scared they have to play Florida and think it isn't fair because Tennessee at the moment is not as good as Florida.

Scare. Spineless. Call it whatever you like, but drop the "fairness" nonsense. It was never a big issue until LSU started faltering a little and Florida started rising.

If next year Florida goes back to being crap and Butch turns Tennessee into a 11-1 team, I bet the majority of your fanbase will go quiet fast.

It was established when it was established. LSU was a top 15 before Lord Saban of Nazareth stepped foot in Baton Rouge.

You geeks sure don't let the facts get in your way.

If you want to let go of ancient irrelevant history, take a look at the present day SEC

SEC Champions since 2000

LSU has 4 SEC titles
Florida has 3 SEC titles
Bama, Georgia, Auburn have 2 each
Tennessee ZERO, nada, none titles

Auburn is now toast while Bama is on top

TAM is now bringing Texas high school football to the SEC in a big way--watch out!

You put way too much stock in 1 damn LSU website. You've seen THOUSANDS of LSU fans whining? The anonymous posters of tigerdroppings.com now represent the entire LSU fanbase. Why are we scared? Please tell me.

Arguing who is scared of playing each other is for children and a waste of time.

Everyone knows the second tier programs like the permanent opponent rule because it shields them from the perennial powers--Fact.

Everyone knows Florida vs LSU keeps Florida high school football tied to Louisiana high school football and shields everyone else in the SEC.

The cowards are everyone one else in the SEC, even if the Florida fans continue to play the fool.

The exception being USCar and TAM who support LSU on dropping the permanent opponent rule.
