The easiest and best solution is to allow Bama/Tenn and Aub/Georgia games to be counted as out of conference games in the years they aren't on the official SEC schedule. Then play a true rotating schedule that is fair to everyone. No permanent rivals.

Even LSU/Florida could go that route.

Florida and Georgia would still be the dominate recruiting programs in the East with USCar and Auburn fighting it out for third.

Alabama, TAM, and LSU would still be the dominate recruiting programs in the West, with the rest fighting it out to reach 2nd. tier status.

Bama and Tennessee can play as an OOC game if the Vols insist on being a sacrificial lamb for reasons their fan base can only understand.

Talk about a grudge match with Auburn and Bama in the SEC C.G.--Wow!

Self-serving agendas are in full control of the SEC--no doubt of that.

I see LSU asking for a fair chance at divisional titles with the same rules for all, with TAM and USCar seconding LSU's motion.

However, I see Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Missouri hiding from Bama, LSU, and TAM, while Ole Miss, Miss. St., and Arkansas are, hiding from Florida and Georgia.

I see Bama and Georgia enjoying their respective scheduling advantage against LSU and Florida and wanting that advantage to last as long as possible.

A fair scheduling format in football competition is not an SEC priority at the present; rigging the rules is the priority!

Gaining and maintaining a competitive advantage through manipulating non-divisional schedules is now a proud tradition in the SEC.

That sneaky bridge schedule in 2012 allowed Bama to steal an SEC West divisional title last year from TAM, and the individuals in control of scheduling are at it again.

Making LSU play USC last year and Georgia this year along with Florida as the permanent opponent, just about killed any changes LSU might have had for the West title--Nice Job!

But whoever said the SEC and fairness have anything to do with each other--nobody.

There wouldn't be any cross Division permanent opponents

We also want to play LSU though. Yeah we'd rather keep the Iron Bowl and the TSIO, but just simply going to a nine game SEC schedule fixes that, and that's what is best for the fans.

did it really take five pages til we got an LSU fan to finally post about wanting out of playing a real game? certainly I overlooked the others.

LSU fans would not be happy until they can play one conference game a year against Mississippi State and 11 in state games.

Sorry that UA & UT won't give up a rivalry game played since 1901, and UG & AU since 1892, just so LSU won't have to play Florida every year. Maybe LSU officials can talk to MS or OM officials about swapping cross division opponents. Would LSU be happy playing Kentucky or Vandy yearly?

Bama fans fully understand they only play Florida half as often as LSU and want to keep it that way.

Fair scheduling rules is not something we should even discuss.

The unfairness in SEC scheduling is not about me; its about the integrity of the SEC and college football.

The integrity of the SEC is doing just fine. Go find a Big 10 board and try to fix their weak arse league.
