Bama has made the national title game two years in a row with 1 loss. When Bama only plays 2 top ten SEC teams in the regular season, and LSU has to play 4 in a 5 week stretch, the odds are heavily in favor of the team only playing 2 top ten opponents.

That year was the exception, not the rule. This year was a better example, IMHO, and if LSU just wins, they have no beef. I understand about how the schedule works and your complaints about it. I felt the same way in 2010 about ours.

We may bitch a lot, but in reality, we won't actually quit on a rival like Texas made you guys quit.

I fully understand that if we beat Bama this year, we would have been in Atlanta, and possibly Miami. But what about 2013? You can't even compare the LSU and Alabama SEC schedules. It's absolutely inexcusable.
LSU has every right to gripe about 2 non-binding schedule years, made up out of thin air, that Bama gets an easy road thanks to TSIO. Frick that game!

I agree LSU has a gripe over the bowl situation. However that went down it was not right.
I see the point over the schedule but I am not as sympathetic, where was Ravalais when most of the SEC had a bye before they played us? We had MSU unbeaten, LSU in a war on the road and then had to deal with A&M this year ..no easy schedule but you just have to deal with it.
Most of your ills could be taken care of on the field. Beat Alabama. If you can.

It just needs to be pointed out that LSU is desperately fighting the SEC on trying to force us into A&M's Thanksgiving Night tradition. If LSU gets forced into that game, then there really might be some serious discussion about leaving the SEC. You can only be kicked around so much before you start fighting back.
