Good luck looking this offseason...oh who are we kidding, yall will probably just promote a no name from within. That was the "big splash" OC hire after all!

Mizzou may well have a brighter future than UT. But for that to be the case, they will have to start bringing in much better talent than they have lately.
I think this is a given, and the product on the field will help close the gap.
IF, big if here, GP can right the ship and have a successful season. Honestly, at this point , after last year a successful season is 8-4.
I believe they can build on that.
I honestly think, that given a decent season, Missouri can recruit with Tennessee.
I really see both programs as being much more similar than some would like to admit.

This is about as true as you're about to get laid.

Fine, I will correct my earlier statement
So good point, yall will likely keep him. It's the Kirk Ferentz effect, except Ferentz actually won a BCS game. Pinkel never even reached one

Drinkel should be fired by any logical fanbase with hopes of competing.

Outside of the stadium itself, there aren't drastic differences between the two. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in future years.
I would be interested to see how the football training facilities stack up. UT just opened a $45 Million training facility that has been in the works for nearly 3 years.

Why would we fire a coach that has almost 100 wins in like 12 years.

That is a big thing to leave out
(using rounded numbers for simplicity)
Tennessee sells 100K seats per game, plays 7 home games, and makes 100 dollars per seat
100,000 x 7 x 100 = 70 million in revenues PER YEAR
Missouri sells 70K seats per game, plays 7 home games, and makes 100 dollars per seat
70,000 x 7 x 100 = 49 million in revenues PER YEAR
70 million - 50 million = 20 million dollars PER YEAR
20 million more per year buys you a Top Tier HC and a top staff (see also Alabama)

We fired a coach that had 150 wins in 16 years...come on...what's the worst that could happen?

Zoo Brother... I'm as optimistic as the next guy as to what can be achieved in the SEC in time, but Pinkel is never going to recruit a Top 5 class to Missouri no matter what the record. He knows his place in the pecking order and recruits accordingly.
I'm just hoping his eventual successor can land Top 5 talent.

Or that $20M (which isn't $20M in profit, but revenue) pays off the previous two coaches.
Tennessee has some structural inefficiencies and other issues which will impact its ability to move forward.

I think its cute that MU/UM fans think they can pull Petrino or Kirby Smart though. That is pretty comical

The fact that yall are defending him proves what a loser fan base Mizzou has.
He's your Houston Nutt and you're defending him. Wow, just....wow.

Meh, he's on a warm seat. All was overblown last year. And considering any coach in the country would have had a terrible year last year if he was dealt Pinkels hand... I'm not too worried.
Ol Beils can't even walk down the sidewalk for pregame.

I think it's cute that you're so obsessed with Mizzou that you created an alter of a former B12 rival of ours to post on the SEC rant.
IOW, Mizzousessed.
