You may be right that Auburn would beat Missouri. That in no way makes your statement actually factual. The degree with which one believes something does not contribute to whether or not the belief is factual. Facts are determined by many things. None of them include your distorted imagination.

Awesome. A topic started about the future of Missouri and Tennessee has been hijacked by an Auburn fan, who thinks it "cool" to bring up the B1G nonsense again.
GTFO.
frick, you are one stupid son of a bitch.

Question for the Rant: Does every Mizzou fan actually believe their school can compete in football in the SEC?

Unless you aren't counting any games before 1900...then they would be 2-0-1 against Mizzou.
Vandy & MU are 2-2-1...
I was mainly referring to da barn which is 20-21-1 vs Vandy...

I'm pretty good with sports betting. So I guess Mizzou is fricked.

Yes...MU beat Vandy in 1895 and 1896. That is why I said, "unless you aren't counting any games before 1900".

Look, I LOVE the story of Tenn falling off and Mizzou stepping up.
But until I see Mizzou bring in a top 15 recruiting class like Tenn does every year the breaks stay on.

Correct, but Vandy does not have multiple MNC's, a stadium approaching 90K, and a fertile home state to recruit from.

Let's test this out. What's your prediction for the Auburn/ Ole Miss game?

Sorry that most of our games with them were pre-WW2 when they were actually good and we didnt play them for a 25 year period in which Bama scheduled them annually for what was basically a warm-up game, while Auburn was busy playing actual football programs annually like Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and Bama.
OUR BAD

It isn't smart to bet on your team, so I don't bet on Auburn. I like AU +3 though

I will say that UT's '13 class was a down year. Scout had UT at #33 and Mizzou at #36. Still, if you look at prior years, there has been a bigger difference in UT's ability to bring in recruits...and that with with Dooley and Kiffin.
2012 UT - #22; MU - #34
2011 UT - #10; MU - #47
2010 UT - #16; MU - #27
2009 UT - #8; MU - #38
UT's problem has been poor player development and attrition. Hopefully, Jones won't have that same problem.
The worst season UT has had in many years was last year, and that was heavily influenced by the fact that Dooley didn't recruit well and Jones only had 1 month on the job before signing day.
Mizzou may well have a brighter future than UT. But for that to be the case, they will have to start bringing in much better talent than they have lately.

Again. I'm not taking this years class into consideration. Things could and will change.
Last years classes were what I was referencing.
Do you feel confident with Butch's ability to coach on the level he recruits?

Remote, I thought it was a legit discussion. Shame it got hijacked. Not even sure how Auburn and Vandy came into a discussion about Tennessee and Missouri.
There is no question in the world that UT has the history over Mizzou and is a much more storied program. But I think, as the programs sit today, there's not much difference. I know MU got a win at UT last year and we get them at home this year. I know the past recruiting classes were relatively close(NOT the 2014 class that hasn't even signed yet). On the one hand Mizzou has had relative stability in the coaching ranks, whatever that's worth. Conversely, UT is riding the honeymoon period of a new hire. UT's facilities are nice but what Mizzou is lacking is already being upgraded. Outside of the stadium itself, there aren't drastic differences between the two. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in future years.
