Kentucky has been sitting underneath Ohio (tons of talent) yet never seemed to capitalize and the same could be said for y'all about Illinois. Mizzou needs a game in Illinois or at least in St. Louis against Illinois just like Arkansas is in Texas.

Illinois has reportedly approached MU about starting the series up again.

Too bad Mizzou isn't getting any of this Missouri instate talent upswing.

This year's class has 0 of the top 10 Missouri high school talent and that speaks LOUDLY.

Yeah. That's where Missouri wetting the bed in their first year in the SEC really hurt.

Completely took the wind out of the momentum they had been building for a few years.

Recruiting Location = Missouri is currently an extremely underrated recruiting area, not to mention it's on the verge of a huge boom in talent. Youth football took off and continues to take off in this state, something that wasn't big at all in the past. 2 large urban centers, and solid rural areas too.

Look at all the areas with massive high school talent that Knoxville is in close proximity with. Nashville, ATL, Virginia, NC, SC. We still can pull Florida recruits too.

Coaching Situation = How can you possibly say TN? We have a coach on the verge of breaking the programs all time win total, a man who has established a brand and style for our program. You're trying to just stop the coaching carrousel.

Pinkel is stale, dude. Mizzou will never do jack shite in the SEC with Pinkel and his 2* players. Can't really judge Butch yet until he has a couple of classes of his players and gets completely rid of the Dooley stench at UT.

Stadium = You have a concrete bowl with no character. Your home games look like a construction convention.

Yeah, stfu. Neyland Stadium circa 1960 looks better than Mizzou's does currently.

Mizzou fan, just stop. Prepare to be cellar dwellers in the east along with Vandy and us for the near future. YOU don't have a football program that can compete with the powers that be. Too much tradition involved. Be happy if you are bowl eligible. Sorry.

That big stadium and all those fans dressed in construction orange really helped you against us last year.

Derek Dooley canceled out any home field advantage we would've had

STL, KC, Chicago, Nashville. And we happen to be pulling recruits out of FLA and GA too. Got the 6A all state QB out of Georgia last year. Oh, and we still grab a few out of TX.

This is the first year that we've had this amount of 2 stars. Most years there isn't one in our class. This year can be explained bc we're trying to build roads into some of these new recruiting areas. Taking a 2 star now so we have relationships in these areas. We did the same thing in TX and it worked. Also, many of our 2 stars this year are guys that are new to positions or even the sport of football but have potential as athletes.

I see zero players from GA and one 3* DE from FL in Mizzou's 2013 class. And looks like you guys only get UTx and A&M's leftovers from Texas.

Not sure how that worked since you're not pulling any impact recruits from Texas but alright. And that part about signing 2 stars that have never played football is a stroke of genius. Pinkel is ahead of the curve there, no doubt

Well then you're blind. Eddie Printz was a 6A all state QB in Georgia. He's currently a RS FR.

Since you're clearly blind, none of the rest of your comment has validation.

#4 pro-style quarterback in GA alone. Georgia, Tennessee and LSU signed the top 3.

Not sure what signing a 3* who is not even a top 50 player in his state is supposed to prove.

It is SUPPOSED to prove that Missouri can compete against anyone in the SEC for players. What it ACTUALLY proves is that Missouri is our of their league in recruiting and they don't even know it.

Missouri's issue isn't quality of players. It's depth of quality. Missouri's consistently getting first rounders in the NFL draft. Injuries especially hurt Missouri. Pinkel is slowly addressing depth. It isn't necessarily about recruiting ranking as recruiting what you need. Pinkel has improved on each successive recruiting class in those terms most years. As long as he continues to do so, I will support him and the team will in the long run improve. Compared with what Mizzou was before Pinkel got here, it's night and day difference.

I'm wondering why this topic is even being discussed. What does Missouri have to do with Tennessee and vice versa. I always hated when one person compared themselves to another and this is similar.
