While I don't doubt that this shite has been posted on this board before, for me to regurgitate it would have required me to have seen it posted, which I haven't. Now that it has been called to my attention only makes it even more amusing that so many bama posters on this board eyes well up even after being exposed to it million times. Even kids don't keep getting upset upon finding out that there is no Santa Clause after the initial time. There are no 13 championships is pretty much same thing.

It always seems to be the SEC fans who are bothered by this issue. Let's just say that Bama has 22 SEC championships and a winning record over all of you. Not to mention more west division titles since divisional play started in 1992. So have fun belittling, but all of this is indisputable.

People amaze me what gets them so upset. It is what it is.
The thing I will point out on some those titles UA was awarded them long before any real rules were established or I should say before any criteria was really created for how it should be awarded. Once the UPI(coaches waited until after the bowl games) I believe any award via the AP and Coaches is legit for any school and I feel most agree. I also think even UA fans and every fan of the other schools before this happened would see that if the system that we have used for the past 30+ years was in place most NC titles would not be awarded that so many claim.
If UA claimed every NC awarded to them we would have 17 for those that do not know not 13. The coaches and AP awarded 8 of those and recognize 8. They have rewarded a total of 11 to the rest of the SEC. Just because you do not like the rules in place at that time is not UA fault. It sounds like fans are more upset their team was never in that situation to be in this discussion.

Coach Tommy Tuberville confirmed that the Auburn Tigers players would get national championship rings for their 13-0 season, despite finishing the year #2 in the final 2004 AP poll and the final 2004 coaches polls.

Looks to me like Bama has four legit NCs, which is what LSU has.

I see folks posting garbage like this all the time with no consideration given to years like 1966 or 1977 where Bama was totally screwed out of MNCs (both times courtesy of NotreDame)

it is what it is, bottom line is they do not have anywhere near what they claim. Imagine if we claimed 1908? or some other years? we win the sec this year and we tie UGA for 3rd in sec championships i believe with 11 overall. yes, bama and UT have more than anybody else.

Don't have anywhere near what we claim? We have 12 legit claims. 8 of those are AP/UPI/BCS. Which means argue those all you want because they are 100% legit. Go to the Bryant Museum and see the trophies if ya want

Read what I said you fricknugget. I said 8 of them are AP/UPI/BCS. The other 4 are the Rose Bowl. I will not defend 1941. We do not have 13. We do have 12 legit claims though
