My God.

He has a preexisting relationship with Orgeron...as Orgeron's boss. I wonder if he would want to humble himself by becoming Orgeron's subordinate. Seems questionable for a personality like Kiffin's.

Saban gets involved when LK abandons the run(in Sabans opinion) just look at the times when you can read Saban saying "run the fricking ball"

I'm more concerned we lose our defensive coaches.

Alabama is young on offense. A good coordinator could look very good for a couple of years at Alabama.

You are truly an idiot. I say that with great sympathy to both your mother and her brother, your Father.

Saban hears every play called. He can step in at any time.

I think this is Kiffins last year in Ttown. Don't know if he goes to LSU, Houston (or something similar) or the NFL. But pretty sure he is done here.

I respect what he's done. I still think the job he did sign Blake was the most impressive thing he's done here and one of the best jobs I've seen from an OC. I wish him nothing but the best. All of that being said, I don't think there will be a ton of tears shed in Tuscaloosa when he leaves.

Why would he come to LSU?

The most common reason assistants leave Bama, Get away from Saban. This is not a troll. I saw this a few yrs ago in a story on Saban's coaching tree. Many assistants roll in for a resume builder and after 2-3 yrs they move on - usually to promotions but some are lateral. Kinda like business school for football coaches I guess.

They say he is really hard and very demanding to work for and you can only take it so long.

Is this the same "they" that confirmed Herman to LSU?

Kiffin didn't sit quietly and get bitched at by Saban for three years to take a worse job under a garbage coach. He's going to be offered and accept a HC job somewhere.

Has way more to do with a phenomenal defense keeping Auburn's D on the field

I also think he benefitted GREATLY from Saban's no press rule for assistants. What are the chances CEO implements the same?

Also, the CEO acronym might be my favorite part of this hire.

The part I like most about this situation is this, was never on the Jimbo, Herman bandwagon. Orgeron was always my first preference, because of the strong bond he has with his staff (Aranda) and the strong bond he has with Kiffin and others he's developed in college football. We'll see how the "Silent Commit" plays out, but I am extremely excited.

The "silent commit seems to have irritated some Bama fans. The "sauce" was meant to be spicy.
