LSU's the new feel good college football story, loads of talent just needs an off. coord , and Kiifin feels loved and respected by coach O. You actually believe Kiffin feels respected by Saban?

I don't get why any LSU fan would want Kiffin? Yea lets take the offense Saban has had his eye on like a hawk keeping Kiffin in check somewhat... I'm sure Saban wont know exactly what to dial up to stop this offense if I comes to Baton Rouge

It's not hard to put up 500 yards when the other team keeps going 3 and out. With an average Auburn offense, Bama doesn't get to 300 yards yesterday.

well we don't live in make believe world, it happened and Bama got 500. Sorry you're always so salty and live in a fantasy realm.

The part that doesn't make sense to me isn't the fact that it's barely a lateral move -- it's almost a step down to move from a program that is regularly competing for and winning national titles to one that just has the potential to do so nowadays -- but the fact that Kiffin is known to have a fairly substantial ego. He has a preexisting relationship with Orgeron...as Orgeron's boss. I wonder if he would want to humble himself by becoming Orgeron's subordinate. Seems questionable for a personality like Kiffin's.

You'd have a point if Bama wasn't sustaining drives. Bama did pretty much whatever they wanted yesterday, including throwing for nearly 300 yards with a true freshman QB, despite some costly turnovers. Finished the game with a 9 minute drive and a mercy knee.

Yes, it did happen. But it's OK to admit why it happened. Bama won yet y'all are still crying.

Bama threw 20+ passes behind the LOS

Ironic that the Kiffin offense is actually well designed to attack the Bama D

multiple solid media sources are running with that narrative based on their conversations with the O camp.
So it's based entirely on conjecture. That's what I call solid fricking reporting right there.

Which is how you end up being able to ram it down their throats the last 9 minutes.

If Kiffin goes to LSU it's probably because his contract isn't going to be renewed and he's been told that and this is the best job available to him (no HC or NFL offers).

I agree that Alabama on offense was pretty unstoppable in the second half.

But I do wonder if that is Saban drawing a line with Kiffen at halftime. I am not taking anything away from Kiffen, but I think Saban has a lot more influence on the plays called than we know.

I still think it is almost a chicken and egg type of argument. Alabama's defense still drives all aspects of the game. Don't get me wrong, the offense is really good, but the defense is terrifying.
