Why would he come to LSU? For one to prove he can beat the top program in the country Bama consistently, that will look great on ones resume. Maybe it's Lane's way of ensuring the Bama job will be his when Saban retires. Lots of moving parts in this, but I can certainly see the reasoning behind the move.

Maybe it was Jimbo Fisher hiring him to be his OC at LSU, because Jimbo is taking the job this time!

Oh. Wait.

Lane to LSU doesnt make much sense. I see him going to the NFL as an OC or to another HC job.

Dude, you're just asking us to be shite on.

We just hired Ed fricking Orgeron to be our Head Coach.

Best thing LSU fans can do is fricking lay low this offseason.

Kiffin is not a trigger word for us. We just move on to the next.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. He is being helped by some overwhelming talent advantages at Bama. While LSU can match Bama at the skill positions the OL is another story. Plus Nick is like his Daddy on the sideline. Would O keep him concentrating on the game, and make him quit checking out the golden girls?

It's being reported on Baton Rouge radio that it's pretty much a done deal, provided LK doesn't get a head coaching gig and after Bama wins yet another championship. Based on LK's personal relationship with Coach O and the fact that his relationship with Saban has run it's course.

Not saying it's true, Just saying multiple solid media sources are running with that narrative based on their conversations with the O camp.

LSU fans would bitch about not running the ball enough, and the second most common thing said from LSU fans during games would be "f'ing Kiffen". Second only to endless bitching about the refs, which is what pathetic losers do.

Idk man... he put up 500+ yards of offense against a pretty good defense.
