Not that it makes any difference but we stopped going to LSU when the game was in Baton Rouge. Upper, upper deck was just too much for an old guy.
LSU's and Tennessee's upper decks are way too steep.

ALL SEC schools provide a minimum of 1500 lower level tickets to ALL visiting SEC schools. Conference requirement.

Lame. But they banned developing a passing game, so more power to them.

don't go don't want to go
my seat in front of the tv is the best one in the house
lol

in fact, we need to drastically reduce ticket allotment to visiting teams by instituting a lottery or some other determination based on merit or something as to who gets a ticket

and put the lucky, or deserving ones, in the nosebleeds…forever

Typical. The guy griping the most about where everyone should sit in the stadium is a guy who doesn't go to games.

j/k - if we made it (ticket allotment) based on merit, we'd have no visitors from alabama lol

lots of good natured fun at ball games - i say let the good times roll

but as to the visiting band not being allowed to play…is it really a big deal to anyone? i don't watch the halftime show no matter who's playing

Ah, the old, "I have no clue what I'm talking about so let's say I was just joking," play.

have been to every Auburn/LSU game in Auburn for the last 30 years and the LSU band has always marched at halftime. Hopefully not anymore though. And I know you seem to be OK with that, so at least you're not a hypocrite.

I know a lot of people in the AUMB and they were kinda pissed that LSU didn't let them March halftime. Especially since they didn't tell them until the week of the game. It be hilarious if Auburn did the same thing.

The rest of the SEC should just ban the LSU band for safety reasons.

I applaude LSU for stepping up to help prevent the epidemic of marching band injuries!

BULL-shite ! LSU traditionally gave over 3000 seats in the LOWER south-east....this went on forever, even though we got less than half that from most other "hosts" ! All that changed with the new SEZ upper deck and rightfully so !

Only other band worth watching is the aggie band. They are truly awesome. Everyone else is no biggie.

I marched in Alabama's Band for four years and played in Death Valley twice, and I have to say that the whole safety issue is pretty dumb. Yeah we're close to the stands during halftime but outside of the usual booing and the occasional middle finger nothing bad ever happened, and believe me we know there is no love lost between the Million Dollar Band and LSU (especially since y'all think we intentionally play over TGBFTL )

I'm not buying the AD's reasoning. This sucks because the LSU Bama game is one of the few away games we look forward to every other year. Especially this upcoming year.

No, you didn't get less than half of 3000 from other SEC "hosts" because the SEC minimmum requirement is half of 3000.
