let's go one further and put visiting fans in the tip top of the upper decks

this is what is done to lsu fans when they visit other teams

Damn, that's a LOT of random, unaffiliated yellow-and-purple in the northeast corner of the lower bowl sitting around the LSU band every time LSU plays in Jordan-Hare then.

Weird.

Surprised a school facing bankruptcy would be so worried about having their marching band shown up by the visitors.

Seems like more ticket opportunities for visiting team. Get rid of all band for all I care. They get prime seats and take up 100+

Those prime seats will likely go to LSU fans and push the visitors up out of the bowl a little further.

LSU has been needing to do this for years. Prime seating in Tiger Stadium should go to LSU fans.

I know a lot of people in the AUMB and they were kinda pissed that LSU didn't let them March halftime. Especially since they didn't tell them until the week of the game. It be hilarious if Auburn did the same thing.

Did the same classless things to the Aggie band. Should have notified before travel plans had been made. Of course, considering the Les Miles fiasco, their AD is very dysfunctional.

Visiting teams fit their band in whatever block the home team gives them. Getting rid of bands will only allow more visiting fans to sit down low.

Yes and every other school makes the rules at their stadium.

The end result will be your band doesn't march at any away SEC West games.

I don't think your fans spending their hard earned money to travel for games will like that very much.

I don't think that many fans care about the bands at halftime.

^^^This. And it's not like they gave that many seats to bands in the first place.

Amazing how this is such a difficult concept for some people to grasp.

I agree. I want those LSU fans front and center when they watch Alabama beat them for the 6th straight time.

The thing is, visiting fans in Tiger Stadium don't get prime seating.

L5U can ban whatever music they want. They're still not beating Bama anytime soon.

Let the band play on. I do think the LSU band should be prohibited from crossing the 50 yard line though, for safety reasons.

Really? The whole Southeast bottom deck section is for visiting fans. Also they created some new visiting seats in the new SEZ Upper (which by the way actually sits lower than the E and W Uppers.)

LSU is not allowing them to march at halftime; they can still attend.

even tho you flunked reading comp. (or are biased as hell), the only band that I enjoyed marching at half time was the aggie band. it is old school and unique.
