In that case, the rest of the SEC should not allow LSU's band to attend.
this is what all schools truly want expect up the ban to everyone.
they want to sell those seats and stop spending money (donated or budgeted) on bringing bands to games.

Either one or the other is true:
1. the safety argument is BS,
or
2. LSU is admitting that their fans are so awful that it actually is a safety issue to have an opponent's band lined up near LSU fans before halftime.
But like I say, I wish all bands were eliminated from college sports so I care little as long as other SEC teams follow suit and don't allow LSU's band to perform at the half.

Amen to that, and tbh If this was a money issue I don't see how this would have any significant benefits to LSU whatsoever.

Let's just find something to bitch about
Ludicrous and "Non-Sensical" policy decision, that is likely to be reversed before the season starts.
Was looking forward to seeing the full Jacksonville State Marching Band in Tiger Stadium...........

Those seats are sold no matter how big the band the opposing team's band is. Doing this doesn't help or hurt LSU monetarily at all.

Embarrassing as all hell.

Some fans (even some Tiger fans) enjoy the whole experience. They don't just go for piss balloons and the chanting of "suck that Tiger dick bitch". We all know which category you belong to.

Having other, full SEC bands in Tiger Stadium is part of the experience. Bull shite move by my alma mater.

Pussy LSU, not surprised.
This of course works as an advantage for them when schools opt out to bring their bands for support.

All of your bands suck. We ain't got no time for that.

the 90k or so LSU fans don't want to hear your sub-par band perform anyways

As a side note, I don't know how often y'all go to Big 10 games but they'll actually play each other's fight songs as a sign of respect. If I heard LSU play Yeah Alabama or the other way around I would probably hurl.
