Pssst, we'll sneak some of your bands on the field at halftime. Just don't tell Bama.

Yeah, I can promise you the Aggie Band's halftime drill will never be replaced by a "party atmosphere."
You mean that boring Centipede arcade recreation?

No.
I meant the Aggie Band's drill at halftime won't ever be replaced by a pep band, show tunes, Broadway hits, Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson, etc.
Military marching is their thing.
Just the way it's always been and the way it'll always be.
But you're certainly entitled to characterize it however you choose.

The safety thing is clearly bs. I really don't care that they're not allowing it but don't just have some bs excuse up and try to feed it to me.

In that case, the rest of the SEC should not allow LSU's band to attend.

And I would imagine this will happen. Marching bands are stupid anyways and not worth the millions of dollars of expenses it takes to send these kids to road games.

t's so dumb. The safety excuse is total bs They're probably just trying to stick it to Alabama who always brings their big loud band.

This is probably right and actually encompasses all SEC bands.

I doubt that happens. Lsu isn't preventing bands from attending.

Wow, good description. I get it if they want to do that repetitive shite at their own place, but they should at least act like a "real" band at other venues.

The governor of Louisiana is behind this. The state can save money in a awful budget-crisis by not sending the bands at the 10 campuses to other halftime shows.

The LSU athletic program makes Ole Miss look like a little, broke bitch.

Keep reaching...YAOM.

Frick, I was looking forward to Jacksonville State's halftime performance.
I guess i"ll have to make it to one of their home games now.

i don't see why anyone should really give a shite about this. No one wants to see the aggie band march the same routine for the 75th straight year, and the rest of the college bands minus Ohio State are painfully boring to watch

I sit on floor level on the south side for football games where the band would stand before halftime. The fans would yell and heckle these guys for being in the way of fans making it impossible to watch the game. The few obnoxious fans were in fact a safety hazard to the band members in the back
