Not in the slightest, nor did it last year nor will it probably next year.

The only thing that is sure bet in college football is a close hard fought battle b/w Bama and LSU when they come to Death Valley. The last two in DV we let slip through our fingers and everyone knows it....will it happen a third time? God I hope not

Yes we have lost 5 straight games vs Bama, but it is always Bama's toughest game.

That's obviously not true, due to the fact the games Bama lost were the toughest games. 2 Blowout wins by Bama and 2 close games but wins are not tougher than losses.

2015- Bama 30-16: Ole Miss was tougher -lost; Bama 19-14 over UT,

2014 - Bama 20-13 LSU; Ole Miss was tougher Bama lost; @Ark was tougher Bama won 14-13

2013- Bama 38-17;Au was tougher -lost 34-28: @ MSST 20-7

2012- Bama 20-17: TAMU -lost 28-24

The last LSU team that beat Bama is one of the best teams LSU has ever had, at least in my opinion. Unfortunately we had to play Bama again and it is tough to beat a team like them twice in a year

You mean a team that was a better overall team, one of the best defenses ever, 21-0; a team that after watching both games most college football fans that are not LSU homers would say that the Bama team would have beat that LSu tean 9-10 games if played.

but this year (2016), I think LSU will have a team that will be possibly just as good as the 2011 team so as of now I think we end the losing streak against Bama.

I like your optimism but no, the streak continues, this year's Bama team will be an overall better team than last year, unless the QB shits the bed, and Bama just is better/more talented than L5u. It will be more competitive than this past years game and LF may even break 100yds but Bama will find a way to win the game.

Also, never compare the Bama LSu game to the other rivalry games you like listed, it's no where close to those .

And to think Aranda did all that with a bunch of three *s and more two *s than four *s in his two deep. Read somewhere he even had a few walkons either starting or in the rotation.

Just think what is possible with all those 4 and 5*s he has at his disposal in BR.

There really wasn't that much of a difference between LSU and bama's defenses last year, especially against common opponents.

You cant be serious if you think LSU and Bama were close defensively last year. LSU was charmin soft upfront with no quality depth.

Bama was stout as frick upfront with 12 to 15 players ready to make plays up front.

We all watched Bama and Arkansas push your front off the ball consistently.

LSU lacks talent on defense. Ole Miss, Arky,Auburn, and Missippi State where all much harder to consistently run against

Actually they had more than 7 in the box on the majority of running downs, just like every other team the Tigers played last season. The difference was the caliber of players wearing the Crimson and white.

Well Randy, when you line up with 2 TE's and a FB, where should Bama line its defenders up?

OK genius splain this.

LSU and bama had SIX common opponents.

LSU held FOUR of the six to fewer yards than bama.

Cannot miss what you never had. He was never going to LSU. Great player but he is not the reason LSU is not competing for a BCS final 4.

Bama held 4 of the 6 to fewer points. Kinda the name of the game. Nobody cares about garbage yardage when your 2s are in the game.

Plus, no one ran it down Bama's throats for 299 yards,in a single game, like Ark did to them; or the 250 Rushing yards Bama and Heisman winner D.Henry bent them over.

They are grasping to find any positive metric they can use to make them feel better about their team vs Bama. Desperately want to believe they're on equal talent level and this is the yeaux.

This clown is back again proving himself an idiot.

He is literally trying to argue that those two defense were basically the same.

So a game where you kneel the ball to victory is tougher than an OT game? You watch those games?
