Says the team that didn't win the SEC-West or SEC....but i'll bite.

Mizzou lost to OU
WVU lost to Pitt
Georgia didn't win the SEC or the SEC-East
Kansas played a weak schedule.
Virginia Tech got killed by LSU earlier in the year.

Love how Bama fans ignore the ridiculous luck that got them their last 2 NCs.

Freaking Iowa State beats OSU in OT after OSU lost some of their staff in a plane crash a day earlier.

They needed KSU and Oregon to lose in OT to Stanford.

No luck involved there.

Thanks. Make you feel better about no winning your division in 2011?

It was for a Woman's basketball team.

So many things don't equate to that relating to football.

Wasn't this the women's basketball team not the football team?

Yes.

People who reference that as a reason for OSU's loss are idiots

Alabama got lucky they got to play LSU a second time in the championship game after losing to them in there home stadium a month earlier. Backed into the game you might say. No other team in the country would have had such luck.

LSU was incredibly lucky that year. Fluke event to have a 2 loss team in the champ game.

Yes, it was the women's basketball team and it was in fact some of OSU's staff. Coaches and staff are part of the university even if they aren't part of the football team.

I never stated that's why they lost, but it was something shocking for the team.

To assume Bama didn't back its way into the title game because OSU choked that game away as you claim LSU benefited from in 2007 is pathetic. At least LSU won its division and conference.

Fact remains that teams back into NC games all the time with the BCS system.

Because idiotic Bama fans try to discredit an LSU title as if it was undeserved yet claiming their's were all entirely deserved.

I honestly don't care that much, but both won their titles and trying to shortchange either team's accomplishment is stupid.

Both times we finished as the best one loss team, cuz we beat the undefeated mofo in front of us! Texas tried that with us in 2009 and we kicked 'em back down. To be the man, ya gotta beat the man. And Bama does.
